<sarcasm> I propose one amendment to their request since they are against only illegal guns: If the gun is illegal it can hold only 3 bullets If the gun is legal then it has no bullet restrictions Take that Mayors! This should significantly reduce gun violence and it is common sense.... </sarcasm>

If you have a local chapter of Friends of NRA, apply for a grant, lots of paperwork but they will pay for it. We did that in Hyde Park and it worked out just fine. Your club needs to do a min of 3 public events (e.g. Women on target, Hunting class, NRA pistol class, etc.) and your club will be eligible. yeah, you cool, after the dear season is done the entire state of NY is OK for any caliber during small game season, there is no caliber restrictions as you have in CT, I know since I live in NY and hunt CT also, you are good to go, just remember any hunting must be done with the most 5 rounds magazine, so leave those 30 rounders in CT :-) You have till end of March for yotes in NY.... Also check the DEC site for details....
