About 15 Amish guys building an addition on his barn. Started at 8 am. Have you ever heard or seen 10 Amish buggies All parading down a dirt road ? Then non stop hammering and power tools till 4.

A.M hunt produced only one mosquito spotted. My neighbor had an Amish build off at his house today but once they stopped at 4 P.M the woods came alive. Had a huge doe that would’ve gotten a bolt sent her way if she came in another 10 yards come in with one unknown. Then as I was climbing down the stand I catch movement and it’s a giant buck about 75 yards out. Now I’m stuck i don’t want to blow this stand up. So I climb down the last couple rungs and back out so he can’t tell what I was (hopefully). Cams are still showing night time movement with only a few day time movers. Next Saturday for the gun opener is my only time I’ll be able to get out next. Congratulations to you that connected today.

I accidentally dropped a rb not paying attention and now I can’t pick him back up or any rb so I have an open slot . This sucks!

Yes that’s the broken arrow! Yes it made a loud whack. When I got down the first place I looked was the tree behind him to make sure I didn’t hit that. It’s just heartbreaking he would’ve been my first bow deer.

Yes bright red no bubbles. When I seen him run off during the track the way he took off and leaped I can honestly feel good about him surviving.

Well I’m heart broken. At 9:45 this morning I had a beautiful 8 or 9 come in and I whacked him . After backing out for 2 hours i started in on the blood trail. We followed blood for a good 500 or so yards when I cousin says look there he was 30 yards away starring at us . He jumped and took off. He ran up on the next ridge looking back and continued into my field. After checking thru the field blood was pin drop size. The whole blood trail was spotty no heavy blood.here is the trail cam pic just before I shot and my arrow. I thought for sure it was a good hit but hit him low.

@BigVal Nissan Titan with the cummins is a bad ass truck. If I could afford it I would be in one!

I have a f-150 and love it great gas mileage and dependable. I had a Nissan Titan and still kick myself in the ass for getting rid of it but it only had the suicide back doors and a small backseat for 2 growing boys. As for Chevy there’s a reason why all the lots are littered with them! Nothing but electrical problems.

In my area between November 10th- 15th has been the peak. I keep a daily log and look back for data number of critters, weather And rut activity etc! I say keep a log and do your own research instead of relying on other peoples data. Every area is different.
