  1. Yes I know the kind you are talking about. That will look good when it is complete.
  2. Dave great photos. I am with Elmer Fudd on this one. If you would make a calendar I would be interested in buying one. You have to take more pics now, you got alot of attention on this forum after taking those photos.
  3. Looks very nice. I am guessing that they are going to finish the chimney with some mountain stone?
  4. Nice pics. That doe looks like she had a big head.
  5. Alright Long Islander's, sounds like Earl is going to be pretty close to you guys tonight. Just stay safe and hope all is well for you and your families. Sounds like it should be a tropical storm but you never know. If you would like to take some photos for me.
  6. Yes, I am not looking at shooting past 50 yards.
  7. Ok the check is in the mail. LOL I was looking at a waterproof coat one day and after I saw the price I put it back onto the shelf. My buddy is dressed head to toe in that stuff and I asked him why he would spend so much money.
  8. I find that Dick's is usually more expensive on ammo. The cheapest place I have found for shotgun ammo is Wallie Mart.
  9. I believe once you are done poopin, you tie the bag shut and throw it into the bed of your buddies truck
  10. I agree with Burmjohn. Race had nothing to do with it. It was the southern accent and the fact that she had no idea what she was doing working in the sporting goods section.
  11. Papa, I have a good hand held call. The calling is not the problem. My problem which I try to work on is hitting a flying target. If it is standing, walking or running I have no problems. Once things are flying, I have a heck of a time hitting it. I just starting shooting clay pigeons last year so I hope when I go out I will be able to hit one.
  12. I work with a guy who went to school and has his license to be a taxidermist and his price is 525-550. And around my parts here in PA that is about average price.
  13. Bill glad to hear that you don't have to have the surgery. Good luck this hunting season.
  14. Was it one on those (farrell) pigs that are suppose to be causing all kinds of damage to the land?
  15. The boots I have now are like muck boots so I would imagine that they are probably about the same size. Burmjohn thanks for the info.
  16. What barrel length should I go with? I was thinking a 6" barrel.
  17. I love rabbit hunting. I am my own dog. I finally got my buddy into hunting rabbits. I tell him that I will walk through the brush and all he has to do is shoot them when they come out. I have never shot a snowshoe but I would love to get one someday.
  18. I have hunted them a few times but never got any. My buddy and I set up in the pines as they like to fly over them for some reason.
  19. We use to put on some small drives but we don't anymore. Now we do what everyone else seems to be doing. One man will walk through a small patch of woods in hope of kicking something up the the man watching the other end. There use to be a gang that drove the area we hunt in but I have not seen them in a couple of years. Big deer drives seem to be a thing of the past.
  20. Nice pics. No I am taking 50 on the right. The smaller one is more of a fighter. You always have to watch out for the smaller ones.
  21. I though I was seeing things at first. These are the first pics I have seen with the buck out of velvet. Very nice pics and I am glad that you finally got some pics of bucks in your plots.
  22. John R. the tail does not appear to be long enough for a Fisher. (My buddy just called me up to his house about a week ago to look at an animal he got on his trail camera and I told him that it was a fisher and after a quick google search I confirmed my original guess.) I to am going to vote with the Porky Pine group.
  23. I know I need a new pair of boots. I have ripped seams in my boots which allows moisture to enter and my feet are froze by 10:00 (my feet froze in my boots even before I had the ripped seams). So I have to buy a new pair of boots that are relatively cheap. Preferably under $100. Burmjohn did you buy your boots online?
  24. Doewhacker are you telling me that Santa is not real No I never bought into that Scentlok stuff. It was too expensive for me and nothing is truly scent free.
