$2200 buck you better snag that fast. Just make sure with that you use the correct oil when you do a oil change. I know my Sportsman 500 HO takes 0W-40 synthetic. I am not sure if that year is when the fixed the cam shaft issue or not. They had a few years where there exhaust lob on the cam shaft would wear down, and the motor would just back fire. They updated the cam with 2 extra holes that where larger in size.

They just released this scums name and first thing the said oh he has a concealed carry permit and is from Texas. Look out I think the anti gunners are going to really try and run with this. It seems like all the shooting happen in GUN FREE ZONES.

Wow what ever that thing is, it is ugly as hell.

I have a Stealth Cam that does not take pictures at night. I emailed them their response was he don have a repair department, but will give you a discount on a new stealth cam. Well they just lost me as a customer. Here is their email response Should you be out of warranty or do not meet the warranty requirements, please note that we do not have a repair service available. However, we will be glad to arrange for a replacement with a new unit, with a significantly discounted price, which would include a full one year manufacturer’s limited warranty. This is a limited time offer, subject to change without notice.

MMKay, that school tax bill was with a Agricultural assessment. If it was not Ag assessed it would be alittle over $3000 just for school taxes, I am talking about 105 acres of just land nothing on it. The county this property the household income is around $47,000.
-
Well here is a example of the school taxes in my area. On one parcel of property which is 105 acres (this is agriculture assessed). In 2011 school tax bill was $1429.04 in 2012 it was $1567.65 and in 2013 its now $1701.64. Doc is correct what they do is say look the rate stayed the same but change the assessment rate from say 90 percent to 95 percent of assessed value.

Why does some guy need to make $300,000 a year for a year to run a school district. I am sure when all is said and done it probley runs closer to $400,000 with retirement and health insurance.

Well with the passage of the NY Safe Act it just removed 5000 acres of hunting land for the Northern Hunters You can not hunt these with a firearm anymore Specifically, the 2,500-acre Pack Forest Demonstration Area in Warrensburg as well as the 2,800-acre Dubuar Memorial Forest http://pressrepublican.com/0105_outdoor_perspective/x335464721/No-firearms-on-SUNY-ESF-lands

Anyone every find pot plants well out in the woods
HectorBuckBuster replied to HectorBuckBuster's topic in General Chit Chat
Well since they where short on trail cams, I put one of mine up on that area for them. They stated they where out of trail cams at this time, and don't worry about it for about 2 weeks as the birds in the sky will be going up soon. I would have just pulled them and not worried about it, but more interested to find out who is trespassing now, as last Jan we had around $3000 in goose hunting stuff get ripped off, but in a small town word traveled fast and we located it all the stolen items. I am going to walk all my hedgerows this weekend and wooded area's and see if there is more. -

Well finally heard from the Sheriffs Dept and told me what to do. Its funny someone said the Tower on Searsburg Rd, as I drive by that almost every night, and always see a car parked in that area around dark. -
So I was over on my property yesterday cutting wood and nature called walked into a hedgerow and noticed poison ivy every wheres so moves about 20 feet, and went about my business when I noticed a strange smell, and noticed the grass in this area was only a couple inches high compared to all the other grass, so I looked around and that's when I seen 4 pot plants.

Looks alittle big for a new born in my opinion, I am sure is was just hiding out in the clover field. I always chat with the farmer that farms my land, and we is always telling me how many fawns he see's when he cuts the hay.I am attaching a picture of a new born fawn, I found this at the end of may. This little buy was still wet. He was in the hedgerow at the end of a vineyard. We where doing some work in the vineyard, and I think we spooked the mom out of the vineyard and she dropped it on the edge of the hedgerow and the vineyard.

NY Safe Act
HectorBuckBuster replied to beachpeaz's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
It was passed so King Cuomo can grandstand and say look on my watch I passed the toughest gun laws in our Nation. Remember you don't need 10 bullets to kill a deer. -
The X on a tree means when they log it they are cutting the tree and not paying for it. The X usually means it is a tree with little to no value, and they are doing their forestry job by removing it.

Anyone have wind turbines on their property?
HectorBuckBuster replied to First-light's topic in General Chit Chat
What about the increase in property taxes? I would also check with your insurance agent to see about if your premium's will rise. -
Virgil , on that 2001 Polaris Sportman make sure you change the oil and only 0w-40 full syn oil. Alot of these Sportmans 500 had cam problems and the exhaust lob would wear down, and all the machine would do is backfire. They update the cams with 2 oils holes and the holes are alittle bigger. Nice thing about this problem is you can buy a machine cheap that needs this repair and fix it for uner $500 yourself.

I am still waiting to get Bigfoot or a Yettie on my trail camera. All joking aside. I know there are lots of fox on my property but have yet to get any on trail cam. Most trail camera's have a slight deal, I have tested mine by just doing, by just walking by at a normal pace, and I was out of the picture by the time the camera too a photo. Most trail camera's do not have a instant trigger. Also what was the chance of 1 lone mountain lion getting hit by a car ?

I have a Suzuki 500 4x4, Kawasaki 300 Bayou 4 x 4 and a Polaris Sportmans 500. I love the Polaris for plowing as not shifting involved. I did notice my Suzuki can push alot more snow then the Polaris. The Kawasaki is a great little machine for just going through the woods. The one problem with the push button shifter is if you are trying to carry something you end up running out of hands to hold, turn and shift. My friend has a Artic Cat 700 and the think is so big and wide he has a tougher time going through the trails.

I love my WB, as I do alot of walking and stalking it keeps my arrow from falling.

I usually do the Glock A Day Raffle in May, then GlockTober (just got order for this weekend for these), and I would a new one for a Fire Department in PA where they are giving a gun away every day next year.

I don't think you see that as they are fur bearing, but could be wrong.

I remember atleast 15 years ago or so, rt 13 that goes through Ithaca by Tops and Wegmans was flooded and there where fish swimming down the road in in that parking lots and their where people fishing there. I also remember reading about people getting tickets by the DEC for not having a fishing license.
