Awesome. Thanks very much for the advice. Yes, i did tap the carb. But, it was starting right up from the moment i used the starter spray. The best fix is a $5 fix. Thanks again.

So, I’ve checked the wheeler every night this week. Fires right up on the first try. Could the problem, whatever it was, have fixed itself just by getting it to fire up with the starter spray the first time?

Wanted to give an update. I finally had a chance today to take a look at the wheeler. I sprayed starter fluid into the intake as you guys suggested and it fired right up. so, my next question is- what was the problem and what, if anything should I do next? thanks again for all the advice. Saved me a trip to o the mechanic and probably a big bill.

I added new fuel and still no luck. The fuel switch is definitely in the ‘on’ position. I don’t see a kill switch. Am I missing it or could there not be one?

Yes. The last time i put gas in it was November- there's very little in the tank. The fuel valve is on.

Sorry. The engine cranks, but doesn't start. It seems that it's not getting fuel.

Sorry for the poor description. It was only dead after the initial jump. While on the jumper cables, and then after being on the slow charger overnight, it's cranking well- but, not turning over. No smoking at all when it first started and ran. I thought maybe it was flooded, but still wouldn't turn over the next day.

Yes, there has probably always been some level of fraud in every election in history. But, there has been zero proof that the results of the 2020 election were effected by widespread fraud. The reason that the 70+ lawsuits have not had their day in court is because they were rejected by the courts for insufficient evidence. Courts don't just schedule a trial every time someone makes outlandish claims. The only reason this fairy tale still exists is because of blind faith from Trump loyalists.

Actually, it is entirely accurate. 70+ lawsuits, all failed. If the suits had any merit, those that were rejected over technicalities or processing error would have been refiled.

you might be right. There may be a heater on it. i'll look at it again tonight. but, it's never happened before. i'll look for the switch. It's a Polaris Scrambler 500- a 2002, i think.

Exactly right. Burden of proof is on the accuser. So, given the fact that 70+ lawsuits alleging fraud have been unable to prove their claims, why are so many unwilling to let go of the fairy tale that widespread fraud determined the results of the election?

My wheeler is not starting. I put a new battery in a few months ago. It started and ran great after installing the new battery. Tried to start it yesterday and the battery was dead. Jumped the battery and it started right up. Turned it off and tried to restart it. Dead. Then reattached the jumper cables and it wouldn’t turn over. While trying to get it to restart, I noticed the throttle was getting very hot. Put it on the battery tender and tried to start it today. Still won’t turn over and the throttle lever is still hot. Any ideas??
