Just sit quietly in the woods and listen early in the morning and then before sunset over the next few weeks. Where are you in 4F- i'm also Long Island and 4F.

How did this turn out? I've had a sous vide for a while and haven't used it yet. Was planning to do backstraps the same way on opening weekend of turkey.

Ok, I don’t want to keep going round and round on this. Just so I understand- you posted on this thread that you’re still convinced the election was stolen. Are you not aware of the 60+ failed lawsuits, the numerous audits and recounts that debunked those claims? Assuming you are aware of them, what would it actually take to convince you?
-
You're trying so hard to play both sides of the fence that you're contradicting yourself. You just stated that you would consider an election fair if it were determined that there was not enough fraud to effect the results. Now, you're saying 'no'? There's nothing that can convince you that an election is fair if you don't like the results? Is that what you're actually trying to not say? As to your question, i have no trouble answering that if dozens of lawsuits, recounts, and audits determine that there was not enough fraud to effect the results, the election was fair. If significant enough fraud to effect the results were found- not merely suggested by a bunch of wingnuts- I'd have no problem accepting that.
-
To me, if the amount of fraud is significant enough to impact the outsome, then the election is certainly fraudulent; if not, though, then I would say it was at least "Fair" , if not honest- problem is, how does one know if the amount of fraud was significant enough to impact the outcome? And, if dozens of audits, lawsuits, and recounts prove that there was not nearly enough to effect the results of an election, you wouldn't continue to doubt the results?

I'm sure you'll be interested to see what happens with Coomer's defamation suit against Lindell and all the other Big Lie proponents. Defamation, as far as i understand, requires significant burden of proof. Will it get rejected and tossed out of court as baseless like the 60+ suits alleging fraud? Or, will it prove that Coomer was just a convenient scapegoat and that the whole Dominion angle was fabricated? If he wins his suit, will you be swayed?

Buying a shotgun in Jersey
virgil replied to virgil's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Picked up the gun Friday. Just got home and cleaned and assembled it. Looking forward to shooting it. The process was easy. Had the gun shipped to the Auburn Bass Pro. No hassle at all. Good to know that the store is a 45 minute ride from my in-laws in Manlius- will be a great excuse to get out of the house on long visits. -
Where do you order the high temp cheese from ?

I drove through Roscoe yesterday morning and stopped for breakfast at the diner. The rivers looked high and very brown. Drove the whole length of 17 to Binghamton and saw only one fisherman on the river.

i carry a lightweight curtain blind with me for when i hunt field edges. It weighs nothing and makes it easy to pick up and move when i want to.

I say use the cameras. I'm no expert. But, in my experience, the birds don't roost in the same spots each night- at least not on my property. If nothing else, the cameras can help you get a sense of if/how many birds are on your land. On my land, it's rare to find them in the same place two days in a row.
