Miles might be a stretch but I’ve had ADK birds come from another mountain to my call. Get back in away from pressure and it’s like the hunting was 20yrs ago with birds that actually gobble and come to calls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ohio, late Muzzleloader, pa spring turkey, VT spring turkey, probably a maine spring turkey and probably another Tn spring turkey and maine deer “rifle.” That’s as of now with the possibility of more being added. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a very healthy respect for thin ice. That being said I’m often the first one on a frozen lake. I’ve ice fished 5 times this year on 5 different bodies of water and was the drilled the first set of holes on each one. I have every possible piece of safety equipment, floating suit, life jacket, ropes and picks. None of that is for my safety I just don’t want any one getting hurt having to look for my body. Last Monday I fished on an inch and a half of good ice. You just have to use your brain and be careful, don’t take a step without a spud bar. I was crushing the salmon and trout but the sun got up and the ice was changing so I got the hell off. When on thin early ice you don’t have any wiggle room. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Clean misses and bad hits on deer.
Buckmaster7600 replied to wolc123's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
Dry fire is more important than shooting for hunting practice. Knowing where your sights or crosshairs are when the trigger breaks is very important for hunters. It’s free, you can do it in your house, it doesn’t take much time and it doesn’t hurt your gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

So shoulder issues, can I shoot 45 cal in a 50
Buckmaster7600 replied to luberhill's topic in Muzzleloaders
In a 50cal I use these sabots. They’re the easiest loading sabots I’ve found. A lot of people complain about cleaning muzzleloaders and blame it on the powder but slot of times it’s actually melted plastic from the sabots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If recoil is an issue I highly recommend going to a lighter bullet! I haven’t found much of a difference in recoil between charge rates but bullet weights are absolutely noticeable. I’m not recoil sensitive but I shoot these with great results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Even when I shot pellets I never used grease. The breech plugs only in the gun 2 months a year, how much corrosion can happen in 60 days? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don’t understand the grease? It’s an answer to a problem that doesn’t exist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don’t use any grease on breech plug, I don’t like adding any moisture where it’s not needed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It’s a battery terminal cleaner. But it is perfect for cleaning the breach and the breach plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

No mess at all, pull breech dump powder out back door and proceed with normal cleaning. Way less than a 5 minute job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’m just glad I horded both ammo and components long before this started. Everyone told me I was crazy when I spend 6000$ in a morning between 3 Walmart’s when they quit selling handgun ammo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Last year at this time I was buying 9mm in bulk for .09$ a round. Supply and demand can be a beautiful thing if you have the supply! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There’s just something special about lead bullets! My 35whelen loves a 110gn .380 cast bullet that I can reload for under .04$ a round. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
