Voting Irregularities
Buckmaster7600 replied to Doc's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I’m a registered Democrat that voted for trump. Not because I like trump as a person but because he’s done and would do a much better job leading our country than kamala will. My take on the situation is this. All I care about is a fair election, as a country we waste trillions of dollars on dumb shit every year. I don’t care what it costs or who wins in the end I want to know without a doubt that the winner is the one that had the legal and legit votes to have the most electoral votes. As an American citizen that should be everyone’s goal. If they do the digging and find nothing it makes trump look like more of an idiot, I don’t understand how anyone on the left, right or middle could be against an investigation! Heading into camp, snowing hard. Hopefully cut a good track! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I’ll be still hunting. Best day of the year for it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don’t agree, females control when they actually do the deed but the rutting activities we’re looking for happen when the bucks get ready. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I tried them, didn’t take me many shots to realize the 2 3/4 kills em just as dead! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But how? They won’t even kill button bucks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Used buck hammers at first, furthest was probably 100yds Went to sabots after a couple years when I got a rifled cantaliever barrel for the 870. My furthest was probably 170ish paces. That was before I owned a range finder and I was always shooting across the ravine so hard to know exactly. I know the two guys that owned the land where the old man and I hunted down there both went to 20’s after seeing the old man and I kill with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have, problem is I have big legs and a big ass so I wear 40-34 pants and there weren’t many fighting in Korea with those dimensions! Even when I was in the marines I struggled to find pants that fit me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol, again you make claims based on a single event. I shot plenty of them at well over 100yds with a 20ga. Don’t think I ever had one get away with it. Most didn’t go far. That being said you do you, I just don’t think spreading false info off little to know experience is good for the forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nope, 250gn SST’s. Back when I hunted with a shotgun I much preferred 20ga. Killed a pile of deer with them. A 20ga slug blows the 44mag out of the water when I comes to energy. I won’t feel under gunned at all tomorrow morning tracking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I always chuckle when I hear people talking about still wearing their dads or grandpas woolies and they still look new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn’t feel right doing it, it’s not like the seam let go. I wouldn’t wear a pair of boots for a year and call the company because they wore out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

These are my Woolrich from a few years ago, same outcome. It is what it is, I don’t feel it’s a quality issue with brands, just that it’s a natural fiber that wears out. I guess I could stand hunt and they might last 50 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What brand did you get. I’ve been using smart wool for years now but their quality is definitely not what it used to be so I’m in the market for something different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There’s some awesome new technologies in clothing, I have kuiu and first light wear them for stand hunting but for tracking there’s nothing that does what real wool does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

None of those companies make wool without liners or other crap in them. Nothing performs like real virgin wool, I’ve tried them. Yes they last longer but they make more noise. I’m not expecting a different outcome. I accept that I’ll only get a year or two out of them. Just like my Lacrosse boots I know I’m only getting 1 deer season out of them but it’s the same situation no one else makes a boot that performs as well as the lacrosses so I buy a new pair every summer. No, although I wish I could get more than a year or 2 out of them for the price It’s not their work or material that failed. I just have big legs and walk a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, my thighs rubbing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Getting my crap together for tomorrow’s snow and I pulled out my wool pants that were new last year and this is what the crotch looks like. These were 325$ from Filson. Problem is there isn’t anything better! Every other pair of wool pants I’ve tried either has a liner or are way too heavy “thick” and both make me way too hot when tracking. Moral of the story is I just ordered another pair and I’ll wear these until it gets cold and I break out the new ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where are you getting your info on a slug having double the energy at 150yds? 12ga on top muzzleloader on bottom. From hornadys website Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
