    12/1 Been a slow week. Have not seen a deer in 4 mornings this week. I had a good feeling about the tower tonight and went in early as the last couple times I had did this bumped deer on way in. It was pretty uneventful until 4 when I had a deer come out of the brush into the small field. Small deer and at 40 yards I could see bumps on his head without glass. I noticed a second deer in the brush still but could not tell what. I figured a small buck. After 10 minutes that one came out and it was another button. I did not see anything else and started checking my other windows and glanced back to the field and another deer had come out at 24 yards. I immediately knew bigger and no bumps. I quickly got the crosshairs set and let the TC Triumph bark. As the smoke cleared I saw her go into the thick stuff. I gave her 15 and got down. As soon as I hit the brush I saw a deer take off so I backed out for an hour. I was pretty sure it was a button and not her but why chance it. Went back in she was 35 yards in and had died 1 minute after I shot or less. Nice fat doe at 122 # dressed. Tagged out at my home properties for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Had a good feeling about tonight. I was up in the tower early. About 4 I had a deer come out to the mini field I could see the bumps on his head and put the glass and yup a button. I see another in the thick still and about 10 minutes later it came out and it’s another button. I go off high alert thinking that is it. Then a couple minutes later she pops out. Nice doe and a huge 24 yard shot with the TC Triumph. As the smoke cleared I saw her going into the thick looking hurt. I got down after 15 and as soon as I hit thick I saw a deer take off. I was 95% it was one of the little ones but backed out to be safe. Gave it an hour and she was 35 yards in the thick. Died 1 minute after she was hit. Thankful I am. Freezer took a nice upswing.     Ok what are venison chips?? It is slow slow slow here. I finally heard 3 shots way off. It was on the other side of town where my brother is hunting and some guy in a field just off our property shot the ran across the field into our section seeing if he hit it. Never saw my bro. Bro said he looked like he was gonna keel over. The deer ran about 100 yards from my bro looking unscathed. My highlight was the coffee was superb! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’m pretty sure in none of those states can you shore fish the ocean, have one of the best salmon rivers and lake, award winning trout streams.... No worries everyone has different opinions!!     After the morning watch took off a few layers and took a loooong walk in 3 Rivers. Lots tracks, snow had a frozen layer on top which kinda killed the still hunt but I tried. Hit home and dried the clothes and eased into the deep hole stand. Not many tracks but I’m pretty sure I heard one bump right before I got to stand. Hoping a pig doe decides to come by.
