  1. TC Triumph loaded with 3 pellets of 777 and a 250 gr Shockwave. Gun loves this load. Have killed deer from 24 yards to 170 yards with it. One of the best shooting guns I have had. I've got a new Accura PR I'm still testing out but it likes three 777 pellets and the Powerbelt best so far. Doesn't shoot near as good as my Triumph so still looking for the perfect load for this.

  6. Here’s my watch this morning! Walked probably 6-8 miles yesterday in 8–10 inches of snow. An hour away drive and just a doe tag. Not this morning lol. Muzzleloader and a new buck tag start tomorrow. Then we’re talking! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. I must have missed your earlier posts. Noticed you were a Phoenixer as well. I have not heard to many shots the last few days but have not been out as I'm tagged out in 7A until Monday.
  13. That’s beautiful!! Can’t wait to get making some sausage and sticks! Looks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Well if it was unintentional I would imagine the shooter was aiming for the most ethical target on a deer the boiler! Was that an honest question? [emoji1745]‍[emoji3603] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Oh o drank all I could!! I had a DD and a pocket full of gift cards!! It was a good night with a good friend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. And I said the state as a whole offers more than most others. Some have better limited stuff but NY has more of all. I’m right your wrong. Move out of my state. Lol jk It’s all opinions and we all have one. It be so boring if they all were the same! Peace bud! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Smoked wings all you can eat and Bells Two Hearted Ale. During the game last night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Congratz on the harvest I know you hunt hard. I still am not a fan of an intentional head shot. Less room for error. I have had to finish off two deer others have wounded with their lower jaws shot off. Lot of suffering from an errant shot. I have no idea if the original shooters were shooting for the head or not.

I prefer the Focal myself. They do say from the can as pouring it changes the aroma/ flavor profile? It says on the can of the Heady. I enjoy both ways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I saw that same show and I have never even had a thought about taking a bear but man one that lived on blueberries hmmmmm. I guess bear taste like they eat so stay away from garbage dump bears and the such.
  21. My dog gets raw trimmings as I trim steaks before cooking she also loves cooked as well. I don't give her real bones of any kind. I have heard both from vets.
  22. Sorry to hear. Dogs are truly mans best friend.
  23. I've always skinned head hanging up. Cut ring top of neck and work down. As you pull down the legs all angle down and it just works.
  24. I use just a small 3-4 inch blade, if you need a Bowie knife well I don't know lol Ring and free up anus use zip tie to tie off Cut from diaphragm down to and past side of milk sac or genitals use two fingers in a V to hold up skin away from entrails this direction is less hairs cut to get other places. tip on side and gravity and you start pulling out intestines and stomach reach up in and pull anus through, i reach up in and find bladder and pinch off and pull that out. Cut through top half of diaphragm and reach up as far as possible to cut off windpipe and esophagus As you pull those down with lungs and heart use your knife to separate a couple places where your attached up near spine and the rest of the diaphragm. If it is a doe remove the whole milk sack The only time I rinse is if the inside gets contaminated otherwise water just spreads bacteria around. I never split pelvis or ribcage. It just opens up the deer to more contamination. I can typically gut a deer in ten minutes.
  25. I told you they were pretty good dogs!! Glad you all liked!! We have the same cheese Advent ! That Gouda yesterday was nice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
