    Ah no coyote season. I actually had two DEC officers stop me coming out after dark last year on public land. I was out of stand at end of legal and a good 30 minute walk. I usually empty the gun but it was pissing rain and i'd rather do it at the truck. Any how they ask if my gun is unloaded. I'm like no. They are like why not. My answer was there is no law against me carrying a loaded long gun. They left me alone and went on their way.

    10/20 39 7.5 hours in the stand today at Howland. Ended up seeing a fisher, a pheasant, 3 doe and 2 fawns. No shots. Did see another half dozen driving. Saw a couple rubs but no scrapes yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Has a doe and fawn pop outa nowhere moving right along. Doe was good sized but they were gone before had a chance. 10 min later spot one off to my right. Another doe just froze for 10 minutes then I hear a pheasant cackle and boom boom boom. That woke me up! She hung for 20 minutes then headed the wrong way.     38 windy and a snow rain light mix 50 minute drive 35 minute walk in. I feel like I been up a long time already. There’s something to be said about hunting behind the house! Like an hour more sleep lol Good luck and be strapped in! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Just got set up. Missed the am hunt was out too late last night lol. Winterized the boat and put up for the winter. Hope the radar is right and it doesn’t get real wet until 6:30!! I’m hoping to be hanging one up in the back yard before that!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    10/19 am 35 Out back in the far stand for 2 hours this morning. I had just about got to my stand, maybe 120 yards, when I heard deer. I tried stop and start walking as it did not seem tearing off and slipped closer to my stand. I actually got all the way up and was all still and the stupid deer blew a couple times and took off. Not much going on until I had a snack and then a young buck, a 5 point I think went by out to my right head down and nose to the ground. Only saw him for maybe a minute.
