  1. I will be sure to post pics and updates in my Journal. It is hectic as can be trying to get everything together!! My sister is getting married this weekend in Plattsburgh and I still need to 40 pounds of smoke pork for pulled pork this week for a pre party. Up and back from there Fri, Sat and Sunday then pull everything together to hit the road Wednesday. Should get the bow in the mail today to put together and shoot a bit. Not knowing if your going to get drawn until 16 days before the hunt is tight!! I can't wait!

I'm pretty sure the lime started way back as a preventive measure in Mexico. The bartenders would put a wedge of lime in the bottle to keep flies out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Thanks all! I picked out a recurve and reel at Bass Pro with a handful of gift cards, both coming 2 day shipping so I'll be shooting next week.
  14. Well 3 years of points and I got picked for a gator tag. My 15 year old son and I will be headed down in less than 2 weeks to go after gator for the first time ever!! Now I am in a rush to find an old bow or a new cheap recurve and slap a bow reel on it, get arrows....shoot a bunch. Meeting my buddy who lives down there. He and his wife both drew tags. He has grappling hooks, spears and all that. I am not looking forward to the 1200 mile drive but really looking forward to gator hunt and eat some gator!! He got one a couple years ago and brought me up some tail meat. Yum!!
  15. We are watching my buds boxer while he is on vacation. Big storm last night rolled in and she got stuck under my sons bed lol.

  17. Way to go!! Nice looking trout. I see your teaching her to hold them fishes way out front like her dad!! lol Looks like the weather is going to take a wet stormy turn here as well for a few days.
  18. Weird video. The coyote is obviously sick. Why would you let your pet near it to possibly get rabies or something. If they wanted to put it out of it's misery shoot it. Why sit there and watch a dog maul it. A bit sick in my opinion, put your pets at risk unnecessarily and cause any animal suffering it did not need to have and most likely for the entertainment of posting on you tube.

A good article on NY beer winners at the Gov http://www.syracuse.com/drinks/index.ssf/2017/08/new_yorks_best_beers_states_first_craft_contest_tabs_big_winners_in_brooklyn_gen.html#incart_river_home I got some beers to try!!
  20. Like I said 4.5 years old. Got some belly, no back sway, not done growing yet but a fine specimen. Now go shoot him Eddie and prove how bad I am at this lol!!
  21. I don't mind some yotes but growie is right in one respect at least around more populated areas. And that is they tend to be more bold. This is due to not being harassed, trapped, hunted and shot at. There is also a lot more of those "toy" dogs out there these days. No self respecting old timer would have a 4 pound dog!! That's a snack lol. They get shot on site around here, I see them quite often and run a bunch of cams. Where I hunt they rarely are in any kind of pack. Moms and pups, a pair but mostly solo. Up north in the Dacks I've seen more run together but also a lot of singles. So I guess my yotes have less wolf in them than those big packs? By the way does anyone have cam picks of there own of packs they want to share??
