10/22 am 45 Had a small doe and fawn come in just before legal. Would of loved for then to stay a bit but were very close and spooked. Not sure if I moved or what? Sat for 2 hours behind the house that was it.

Ouch sometimes I think I do not want to know what showed up when I did not lol! I did that last year. One day I had off to hunt and I was going to hit a certain stand. I ended up helping mom move. North just down the road from me! I have been out this way about 12 years. About 11 of them taken one out behind the house here. Never done too much in 3 rivers though there are some studs in there, it gets hunted pretty hard. We hit it a few times a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10/20/14 am 41 Out back this morning, it was a beautiful out. Cool, not wet and calm. I actually saw some deer!! Had 2 does and a fawn come in from right. The middle doe came right to my tree, I was up with bow in hand but no opportunity. The other 2 were out about 50 yards still. The one walks 8 feet behind me and gets a wiff of something she no like. She starts stomping and taking a couple steps back and forth. This gets the other two all worked up so the big momma blows a couple times and turn and walks out away in front of me with the fawn. The one behind me swings around me, I am thinking perfect. She is 15 yards but I can not draw she will see me. I get drawn but she stops with no shot. I let down when she looks away. She is 30 now and I pull up again as she walks through a 2 foot gap. I just did not have enough time to get comfortable shooting before she is through and off she goes. Close but no cigar!! Sat 2 hours. Bout time I see something!!

I stay. I was just wondering what others thought/ do. How far away can that blow be heard? Any deer outa that range will not change what they were gonna do. And any in prob forgot about it soon after Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So your in stand and shortly after first light you have doe(s) come in. Anyhow a doe blows half a dozen times as she wanders off. She got downwind of you and caught a wiff she did not like. She did not bust you or bolt off just wander off blowing. What are your results of seeing deer after that? Do you stay or move? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10/19/14 pm 44 Back down in the hole for 3 hours. Man it was a nice night. Just a bit windy but not bad. I can not see a deer. Both bro and I zip.

10/19/14 am 41 Well I got the cold I wanted. It just stopped raining before I went out. Sat out back in the far stand. Bit of wind swirl now and then but overall a nice cold morning. Just the deer did not agree!! Sat 2.5 hours.

As she ran away did you see the arrow still in her or was it a pass through? If a pass through did you actually see where you hit? Arrow hole/blood on her side? Did you find any hair at impact spot? How far from shot to where you picked up blood coming out of swamp?

10/18 pm 55 Down in the hole again for another 2.5 hours. Rained pretty good for an hour then light rain off and on. Another zero for us both.

10/18 am 57 Down in the hole for 3 hours. Light rain off and on, Brother up top neither saw a thing.
