10/31 am 30 Out back in the far stand for 3 hours. Bumped deer 100 yards from my stand going in rrrrr. Had a big fat coon breakin sticks get me excited for a sec. then about 10:30 had one blow behind me down wind in the creek bottom. A lone doe she just continued walking on her way 100yards out. Pulled cams on the way out and checked the tower and tried the heat. It wouldn’t work then I noticed a mouse or chip chewed a hole in the hose. I’ll replace that tomorrow. Had a bunch of bucks moving last two nights. Two bucks on a does trail by the tower And more by the mock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Back up and at em. Pulled some cams on my way out on home prop this morn. Lotsa buck pics, plus 2 following a doe. But ALL at night. Checked on the tower and tested the heat. Frikin chip or mouse chewed a hole in the 12 foot propane hose little bastid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

30 degrees and spitting rain/ice Weather ap days 0 percip so ? Lol Of course jumped deer 100 yards from stand coming in... I need to see some deer today, yesterday was brutal. 10/30 pm 40 Hit 3 Rivs for 2.5 hours in my climber over the swamp. I need to get more practice with the Lone Wolf. Saw absolutely ZIP. State Land kicked my arse today. 6.5 hours in stand nada.......

Do not do this if A. You have property line issues and B. You are inexperienced tracker. That said it can work. I’ve done it. I find it easier to wait and not do the 2 mile chase though lol. If you shot him at 7.30 you should be looking now. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Its cold I would give that deer at least 8 hours. I think the rest have it right.

10/30 am 34 Hunted my corn stand on Howland. Bumped one just off the field going in. Also had I think a doe go by me 20 minutes before legal. Then nada for 4 hours. Except two bird hunters. Back at it in a bit.

Up and in on the Island 8f Don’t know how you guys do the long drive every morn! 50 min drive then mile and half hike. Saw my first deer in neighbors yard. Came too close to a 4/6 pt standing on side of road. Jumped one on my trail in off cut corn field and had one walk by about 15 minutes ago. I think doe, still too dim. I’ve owned new Nissan, Dodge, GMC and 3 Chevy in a row. I driven for work Nissan, Toyota, Chevy. The only one I would never buy again is a Dodge. Too bad cause personally the have the best looking truck and interior planning. Ive has the best experience with Chevy and Nissan. I just won’t buy foreign anymore. And yes I know that’s a mix as all vehicles are made of stuff from all over. Bottom line American owned company gets my support. I don’t dislike Ford it’s just I think they are overpriced. I’ve looked at Fords two of the last three times I’ve bought and got into the Chevy for thousands cheaper. Usually 4-5 grand cheaper for the same class/size truck. I think you can get bad/ good trucks from any of them. I’ll call myself a Chevy guy as all of them I’ve had have done me right and resold very well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10/28 pm 51 Out back in the new stand for last hour. Nothing happening.

Up and at em. Hung up two scrape droppers on my mocks down by the edge an tower. The one had been freshened. No pic as I had to pull cam earlier. Stupid cabellas cam with card only works in that cam not other cards. Thing pizzed me off. I have 6 different brands that all work fine with any cards and Cabellas gotta play azzhole. 10/28 am 41 Out back in the far stand for 2 hours. Another cool quiet morning. Leaves wet from the daily rain and wind very low. Felt like a good morning. I did have one small spike cruise by at around 8:30am. Besides the few pumbed on the way in I have had little movement right at dawn. Its been an hour or two after. I see some longer sits coming up Fri, Sat and Sun!

Man it feels deery this morn. The only thing that agrees so far is a spike who came through at 8:30. Gotta pull out for work soon. Working for a living really screws up my plans lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh that is my style lol wear them down! This week and next should be good. I saw a lot of deer Sat and Sunday. As usual I get more shot ops on bucks than does.

10/27 am 40 Down in the outer Hole stand for 2 hours. Nice morning, cold and damp. Wind was erratic at best. Had a spike sneak in behind me around 9 am and pass by at 20 yards. That was it.
