So after a bunch of review I am pretty sure I am going with an Echo. Now just to decide on a SRM-255 or go overboard with a 2620T.

Does she have an idea what type classes she will be taking? If she has any design classes that may make a difference. Or music composition. What size, weight? Does she want/need a touchscreen/stylus? My daughter takes some design and needed a compatible screen surface for stylus use. Not that I know any more than you TF but those things may help others on recommends. Great battery life is a must.

My IT guy recommended to look for the AMD Ryzen CPUs when I asked him this question a month ago. Said the processing speeds are leaps better. Interested to see what the IT guys on here say. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/AMD-A12-9720P-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-4700U/3043vs3699

You take a London broil and put in a crock pot with a packet of onion soup mix a can of mushroom gravy and can of mushroom soup and 6-8 hours later shred and have over noodles. Fall apart beef and gravy. Or do the same with an Italian beef sandwich recipe. Boom It is not best for grilling, though a good one tastes fine it is a tough cut.

I was prepping some bacon wrapped veniloins stuffed with Swiss and spinach for tonight and had a spare hunk of loin that got smacked with Bionics Cow Rub and hit a hot cast iron pan and joined a couple fried eggs for dinner. Fantastic and got smashed without pic. I'll have pics of the bacon loins tonight.

Lotsa good input. Keep it coming. I run an Echo for my bigger chainsaw and have been very happy with it. I need to research the Kombi and Tanaka as I’m not familiar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well after 20+ years of use my gas weed eater is looking to retire. I am looking to replace and am all over the board. I trim every couple of mows and have a good 45 minutes of trimming each time. I have also used the eater to clear trails occasionally. Do I want to stick with gas? Probably just due to I am sure I won't get 20 years out of batteries. I have seen some new combo units that can swap attachments. A lawn broom would be a sweet add on. Con is most items work better for their intended purpose and combo units tend to disappoint. Throw me some input so I don't miss important points in my search!!

Super!! I have only done venison. I learned to do it with my Gram since I was a tadpole. I am the only one I know who does it still out of my friends and family. But they are always asking for the finished product!! I ate my last can a few days ago, so frickin good! My back just hurts thinking of trimming and cutting 25-30 pints lol.
