  1. And a state givin tax incentive or the like. I mean I hunt everything from coon to deer farmers love to have coon shot but most leases I've talked to guys about only deer hunt...it would benefit everyone to have the state try and help landowners open up instead of just taking the highest bidder Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. Heck yeah I'm looking at late 40s with the right luck...I'll still work just not for someone else lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Yea my daughter starts full day pre k next week sons in 1st I work 45 plus a week normally 50 also love my toys...just bought new (to me) truck bc mine was junk and when the wife starts and gets steady she will get a newish car too...gotta have reliable stuff to get to work. I don't know that I'll even lease I may try to buy a piece If I end up south but that's another issue. Someday I will own the house and 100 acres that I live right next to probably 10 to 15 years before it hits the Market again they just bought it wish I had been ready to buy it but I will retire in that house with that property someday Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. Lmao my dad and uncle haven't dragged a deer in 12 plus years....my uncles boys turn 12 this year told them to bulk up bc soon it's their turn to drag...and 8 years from now my boy should be able to drag lol...like a family tradition.... I also use a quad now...but still end up walking to get that Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. I agree hopefully when wife goes back to work that means I'd have more money...that's what sucks I have an excellent job making good money for the area and yet still can't compete with city money around here anyway Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  6. Sold out in olean Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  9. Scurrrrrrd Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. Nope just leave as voluntary ar...we don't need more laws or need to tell people what they can or cannot shoot Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. Like I said can't prove one way or another and I also shoot for meant and fill a few different freezers and have a hard time getting doe tags here so hunt the fingerlakes in stateland to help there...but I really believe alot of leases are big buck clubs just like everywhere else in the states Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. Yea I got that awhile back lol...but seriously when you have lived in an area you whole life and watch big city money move in and buy up al the leases it hurts the community. Their needs to be better way or else this state is going to suffer... I also believe that the majority of lease hunters are horn hunters can't prove it but can't prove there not either...personally why would you pay to shoot a 4 point or a doe...most wouldn't but again that's my opinion from what I've seen locally Wich hurts the decs plans on management and cases doe only seasons and other off the wall tactics Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. Unfortunately that is why this state is going to suffer in terms of conservation...eventually the state will bring in drugs to make the deer stop producing or snipers to kill them off in problem areas bc leases have land so tied up...and if the landowners are taking in income to help pay taxes why shouldn't it be taxed...I'm taxed on all my income Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. We'll only have a very very few state lands down here where I'm at and the little town I'm in some guys barley have the gas or a vehicle reliable enough to get to town let alone a few hrs away for a hunt...the fact is land leases hurt locals more than they help. We are not talking about people buying land we are talking about people closing down local farms by offering big money to hunt them. Lease money should be taxed bc it is income. The state should try and open farms up like I stated above just like they do for public fishing acess...again don't take this personal it's about the guys I have met the guys I have seen I'm sure there are great outdoorsman within the city but those are the ones you don't hear about bc everyone thinks they are just the average guy around town. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. The local jack who doesn't have a place to hunt anymore bc the city folk came and paid for all the land...who also uses the deer to supplement his grocery Bill for the year. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. And it would still be better than the way it is now...last I checked Arkansas is a free state...I'm not saying all the city folk just the majority of the ones I see are gun blasting fools that shoot once a year the night before the season opens kills or runs off every deer in a half mile radius and then rides there quads around trying to kill the deer that are smart enough to bed down....now I know you are all not like that but the guys I have seen and ran into down here are and it puts a bad face on the rest.. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Bc that big city money does ruin the rest of nys political and economical
  18. I hunt the stateland in 8n and am helping another member out there this season if your interested lmk there's a few of us who know it pretty well Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. Can't wait to see some shots over in the shot thread Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. For me it's not the leasing that bugs me it's the fact that alot of land has now gone toward leasing instead of being able to obtain permission. The state want to control the numbers how about paying some land owners in the problem areas to open up the doors to hunters maybe even a lottery type hunt. Can hunt this farm for the season by wining the lottery. Many of us don't have 1000s to lease land bc city folk come up and throw down big money. Let's make leased land make one year taxable income and see how that fares landowners. Land is being leased up by guys willing to spend way more than the average Joe that may have been hunting it for 30 years...leasing sucks still Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. Yes they are....wife's family is down there too Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Definitely not going just for gun laws. Only debating on going bc my parents and sisters are. The heat is my biggest worry really. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
