  1. I agree they can eat.......whatever you want to put there....edit...I did not know there was even such a dumb law...what happens if your birthday is in November and you have never shot before but want to go out for first season...that BS Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. No I wish...I'll be at the NYS trapping convention Sept 1 2 3 at the herkimer fairgrounds...I'll not a big fan of snares and I admit it's probably bc I'm uneducated on them. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Yep...I have enough freezers to fill as long as I have to drag it home and not carry it and I have a tag it's dead if I do my part. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  4. Also IMO if you are going to shoot them for the fur wait till December at least so the fur is prime...alot of guys are getting stuff tanned and making hats and what not outta them Edit...if you get a good color phase anything local taxis may be the way to sell also Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Fur market is in the gutter most buyers won't even buy coons and if they do its for a few bucks...fox 20ish and yotes 25 to 30 ish this is average obviously there will be higher and lower...every buyer I have talked to this summer will be buying only put up fur meaning fleshed and streched...very few will buy green and if they do expect the cost to drop drastically. 6. I hunt the adks with a buddy and have come to the realization it's g9nna be a chore. Figure skin and bone out and pack out the meat. 2nd trip 9f nessasary Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. The thing with Armilite framed rifles is the interchangibility of cartridges. With a couple of buttons you can change from a 223 to a 7.62x39 and many other rounds. Makes the cost of owning multiple caliber firearms less bc the platform is the same. Another thing to point out is when talking about them correct them on the term AR. It's not assult rifle it's Armilite the manufacture who first produced them. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. Could probably find a used climber for 100 bucks Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  15. Shoot I'm exact opposite I can't wait to sit in the woods and listen to the squirrels run around and birds chirping. Even if nothing comes by its still one of my favorite things to do. Not to mention the weather is better so I can take my son along without him getting cold and complaining lol...wish full xbow would happen so my dad could join in when it's nicer out. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. Lol...no single don't drink and have 2 kids about to start school...so this shift blows hard...is good for hunting tho and trapping...I only use this site on my phone could imagine sitting on a computer when I can do 99 percent of what that does from my phone. Taptalk works great once you get used to it Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Beautiful out there....now only if I didn't work second shift 3-11 pm Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  18. Biz your photoshopping different animals into that background aren't you...lol.....hope you have a stand 25 yards from that trail come rut if the does are there the bucks will be Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. I think it's more about harvest numbers...they opened it up with hopes to take a few more a year...I don't see an issue with it what's the difference in shooting a bear or deer? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. That's it...you cant fool an animal this is what they do. What they are built for. I don't buy into scent control I don't do anything special other than not wash them in normal laundry soap. I always hunt the wind and unfortunately I also smoke in the woods and have shot deer with my cig sitting next to me. It's wind. I do use cover scent alot tho bc I always have it with me...idk if it helps or not but always have a bottle of fox pee I squirt on tree and branches around me as well as put on my boots...and drag rag is normally doe pee Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. It's not that cut and dry...let's say non working welfare recipients Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Manditory drug test and community service to welfare recipients. Ssi and disability are different... Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  23. Don't shoot over the range you set as max. Even if it's a booner standing at 40 but your only comfortable to 30 don't take it. Better to wait for another day then wound him and let yotes get him Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  24. I only think stands make a difference in bow season public or private. Especially climbers with their mobility Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
