  1. I like them too Pygmy, I can't seem to resist these sales especially when they throw in the shipping for free !
  2. Wing Supply has several turkey calls and strikers on sale with free shipping.http://www.wingsupply.com/categories/closeout-closet/closeout-game-calls.html
  3. I am sure I will spend some money there. I know it is going to be a larger store than the Lodge at Dick's so I have to wonder if DSG will no longer have hunting and shooting merchandise at the Marketplace store. They will be across the parking lot from each other I believe.
  4. http://www.wingsupply.com/closeout-closet/closeout-hunting-accessories/tanglefree-mossy-oak-duck-blind-gun-sling-w-swivels/ The swivels are Uncle Mike's and the shipping is Free !
  5. Of course this probably does not mean that whomever is doing the check can't charge other administrative fees like some are doing now for transfers of firearms.
  6. According to SCOPE there is no provision to charge money for a background check on ammunition in the safe act. This is from the Scope website.http://www.scopeny.org/safe-act/ see number 2.
  7. Have a good time and fire off some ammo for the governor !
  8. I bet Weinstein could get Joaquin Phoenix to act in it too. There are a lot of weirdos in Hollywood. Many of these creeps glorify and profit from replica firearms. If he makes the movie the usual chick flick lovers will gush about it and the rest will want to throw up.
  9. SCOPE says there is no fee if and when the ammo background checks start. http://www.scopeny.org/safe-act/
  10. Only a few sizes left, $30 FREE SHIPPING.http://www.wingsupply.com/russell-outdoors-closeouts/mossy-oak-drystalker-bib-overalls/.
  11. As I posted on another thread, ammo will become a black market commodity like it probably is and has been in other parts of the world ruled by oppressive governments.
  12. The ironic reality is that a black market for ammunition will be the result of the "Safe Act" no different than alcohol, fireworks, cigarettes etc. etc.
  13. Happy birthday Doc. I hope I'm still climbing hills and deer hunting when I reach 70 !
  14. I hope you are still planning on voting this November. Not voting is not the answer and is just what the Safe Act supporters hope for.
  15. The fight has just begun. Now we (the people) need to convince everyone that disagrees with the Governors illlegitimate "safe act" to get out and VOTE. If you don't vote you are part of the problem.
  16. If I decide to leave N.Y. I will have to research Grand Rapids Mich. At least I know the dialect will be familiar and I bet they don't re-write the second ammendment there!
  17. Rochester,Buffalo and Grand Rapids for me too. LOL.
  18. A former relative used to actually tell her ex and me that she hoped we wouldn't get a deer when we went hunting.I had venison cooking in a slow cooker one day and she said "mmm what smells so good ?" DEER I quickly told her.
  19. Not my style of deer hunting but as long as it was all legal it is Maryland Deer Hunter's choice as to how many deer he shoots and when.
  20. Some people are afraid to try wild game. Enjoy !
  21. A Remington 700 ADL SS in .270 from Black Fri.and a 3-9 scope also a couple of D.S.G gift cards.
  22. Got mine this week, looks nice I will try it out soon at the range. The free shipping ended the 18th.
  23. I never thought much about the sounds of farm equipment or saws attracting deer but thinking about past experiences this makes sense.I knew chainsaws attracted deer but I didn't know deer would actually watch people cutting.Interesting.
  24. You fooled me Wooly,I wouldn't have guessed that bird was dead.
