Remington 700 recall..
The_Real_TCIII replied to growalot's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
IIRC my savage .270 couldn't be opened if the safety was on. I did not care for that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I had an awful hunt in Maine as well. People riding horses and quads around my site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes but Larry302 made an incredibly important point above, if that plug comes out of the wall it's hot and could kill you. Plug it in an outlet that's out of traffic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Who is the first person you call/text?
The_Real_TCIII replied to ATbuckhunter's topic in General Chit Chat
Theres always a group text going with my buddies that hunt, I'll usually shoot them a text first. Then it's on to the the forum to post "SMOKED HIM, BBD!!!!", then a little while later I start a "Help me find my deer" thread. Followed by a "Don't use (insert product here), they suck!" thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I won't even read threads about target panic. Not even kidding Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All are off with the exception of the furnace breaker but I see what you mean, the breaker the outlet is on needs to be open as well. Furnace is hard wired Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you I appreciate that! I think we are alright though. Im about to cook a pizza over charcoal, old school lol

I've killed dozens with mechs including the Chinese rage KOs. My setup is pretty typical, 60lbs, 430ish grain arrows. I treat every head as one and done so them breaking while not ideal does not concern me. Having said that I don't blame you for switching, once something fails you, swap it out of your setup. Heck of a buck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So without endorsing this idea can you tell me if this is the safest way to do it? I've shut off the Main and all breakers but the furnace and ran a chord to an outlet in my garage where it won't be bumped out by anything or anyone I do have a guy coming to put in an auxiliary panel for my generator but that won't be until next week at the earliest. He's going to do mine and two other neighbors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Latest update for my street: Tomorrow at 11pm. Wtf. At this point I have no choice but to backfeed every few hours to run my furnace, it's going to be in the teens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
