I had one come flying out into a field barking his head off at me, it stopped at about 20 yards and walked parallel to me all the way across, barking the whole time and then it went back in the woods. Just like walking across someone's yard and their dog "escorts" you across. I won't say it didn't scare the crap out of me lol.
