You have money. So go hunt all those big states with more animals to hunt. One less trip to some tropic island and you can do a DIY hunt for Moose in Alaska! Biz. You are missing the point. For what it is, NYS is awesome. For hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities.

We could have three, if more people got involved in getting a Moose hunting season going. Instead, we have people fighting tooth and nail to hunt tiny birds. Is NYS a prime hunting destination? Nope. I like it that way! I hunt mainly public land, and most of it gets hammered with hunters. So, no, I don't want to deal with out of state hunters. So let them keep us on the no show on that scale! NYS has a pretty good land diversity. We also have some pretty damn big deer right here in NYS.

That's really all I can find. It's a flat rail to put bead sights in better postilion. Still can't find anything stating a "Ventilated Rib" barrel is better shooting slugs or shot.

What is the true purpose of a vent rib barrel on a shotgun? I get that it's "supposed" to help release the heat produced, and I get the flat "ridge" on top of the barrel helps for better sighting and shot placement if you are not using a scope. Especially using a double bead. But, what is the real purpose?

OK, I want to address this one first. I will agree, there is a large amount of racism and bigotry in the political section, I don't like it, and have stood up against it, many times. Now, as for "religious hate" on here? Not sure I agree with one at all. Yes, people bust balls about religion ( not everyone holds the same faith, so if they disagree it's not HATE, it's "diversity" ( isn't that liberal term? ), I have never actually seen any form of religious "HATE" on this site. What we do have on this site are a lot of "zealots"! It's do things their way or no way at all! Or you have to think their way or you're wrong! Now, as far as making the kill on a game animal. The turkeys I have harvested, the rabbits, squirrels, fish I have caught, all of them. I don't cry, but I certainly take a moment to respect my harvest. I also don't hunt to get a record buck, and I don't fish if I can't eat what I catch.

WTF does the X have to do with squat? I couldn't give a rats backside about curling, hockey, or skiing! The Winter X Games has Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Winter Dirt Bike Racing, ETC. Sure. I will wait in suspense while the Chiefs blow it again next year. I wonder how the owners of the Chiefs and the fans feel about releasing a QB with potential, Foles. My goal is a lasting target. 75% of my shooting is done inside my home, at a max of 18yds, but have found ways and places to shoot out to 30. The Rhino isn't in the cards this year, I don't want to derail the thread, just have other priorities right now. I can still shoot one side of both foam targets, Next time I get brave enough to shoot in the house I will take a pic.

That's some fine shooting from dad and daughter! Post up some pics from her tourney and how she does sodfather. Nothing wrong with keeping this going. Many people shoot all year. Had the bow out a few times since the bow season ended, not as much as most on here, just never took pics. Officially blew through my foam target, again, have to look into a new one. Right now, focus is on turkey season.

I don't think it's a question of stupidity. I think is more an era of laziness. Millennial's are lazy, haven't been taught to do things on their own, and want things done for them and want it done NOW. At least most of them! Not sure where this thread was supposed to go, but, it's not stupidity that's killing America, it's laziness!

It's not the snow that's frustrating. It's the mix. Shoveled out the neighbor, half way through snow turned to rain. So busted my butt to get my parking area done. Was soaked by the time I was finished. Rain was coming down pretty good, and switched to sleet, front steps were a mess. Had to resort to Sea Salt on the steps, the bags of snow melt were in the fiancées vehicle, but the sea salt helped. Then it changes back to snow. This really is a good old NY storm for sure. I did find my thoughts going into wanting to be on the hill with my board. Haven't had that feeling in some years.

Some of us hunt small game and start thinking about spring turkey season this time of year. Not about what dude we want a "bromance" with. But carry on Biz, not all of us wear wingtip shoes and only hunt deer. LOL!
