  1. I just shut everything I don't need off on my Iphone & it will last all day would like to hear about the external batteries also as I thought about buying one myself just in case
  2. 99% of my hunting is done from the ground bow/firearm it is a heck of a lot harder in my opinion but a lot of fun. They can & will bust you so much quicker on the ground make sure you wash your camo's in scent free & UV killer wash. I have had the same thing happen one year. they would come out with a perfect wind & stare right at me. I thought I was pretty well hidden but I think I stuck out like a sore thumb. also if you sit in the same area Dont sit in the same spot. Move 40 or so yards from where you were sitting. from what you have said it sounds more like they are seeing you or hearing you move rather then smelling you but never underestimate their nose thow out a couple scent wicks just to make sure
  3. Anybody get a deer this year using the new Hypodermic's I have used the 2 Blade for years & love them just would like opinions on them from people that actually have used them asI need to get another set
  4. Thoughts & Prayers to the Benoit Family BURLINGTON, Vt. - A big loss for the hunting community. The famous Vermont hunter Larry Benoit -- known by many as the whitetail king -- has died. His family tells Channel 3 he passed away Monday night after a long illness. Some have called Benoit one of the best whitetail deer hunters ever to call Vermont home-- a passion he shared with his family. Loved ones point to his success with the sport and his role in helping to raise nine kids as his biggest accomplishments. Benoit was inducted into the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. He was 89 years old
