yeah I am about 30 min North of Concord Love NH just wish the hunting was better & I agree with your feelings of NY heck we can own any firearm here short of a rocket launcher & bombs looking into a silincer for a couple of my guns do get a complaint now & then if I shoot to much NFA-ADK as far as I am concerend NY is one of the best hunting states in the north east I think NY shoots more deer in one county that NH has in the whole state for population one thing about hunting we like here is if land is not posted you can hunt it (recommend asking permission 1st)

NH where I moved from NY in 1987 Great place to live southern NH is becoming Northern Mass but up here in the country it is great. where I am if a house goes on the market & someone is looking at it that day becomes range time day we shoot all day long to let them know what they are in for before they buy. Hard hunting up here though small deer population & mostly thick cover. If Politics were different I probably would move back to NY to the Lakes region can't beat that country setting

I really hate to ask this as this topic already has seemed to go way off course but will Xbow have its own season or will they be allowed during archery or is that is what will be up for discussion
-
Congrats someday I may have to trade in my bow as I am not getting any younger still not legal here in NH during archery so I wont be going out to buy one anytime soon will this go into affect this upcoming season?
-
did not vote not enough info for me 1) I would support if managed correctly 2) yes I think it could if not managed correctly & think there are cases where it has transferred CWD to wild deer I could be wrong on that 3 nope don't really care if I shoot a deer from a farm & would never pay that kind of money to hunt but to each is own I am not one that would bash anyone for the way anyone wants to hunt if it is legal go for it

don't know if this was posted already or not March 28, 2014 On March 26th the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association (NYSRPA) announced that New York State Police had decided not to enforce “a capricious, ill-conceived and unconstitutional portion of the NY SAFE act”–the seven round magazine limit. According to Guns.com, the decision follows a federal judge’s ruling in December which ruled the seven-round magazine limitation was “‘tenuous, straitened, and unsupported,’ and therefore unconstitutional.” This puts New York State Police in line with the “sensible path taken by the New York Sheriffs’ Association and many local law enforcement agencies in not enforcing” the magazine capacity limit.

Yup got rid of my fully loaded Chevy miss those heated leather seats for a pontiac grand prix about 5 years ago when gas prices went through the roof was spending about $100.00 more in gas a month then my payment was Have been kicking myself ever since. I don't care what the gas prices go to ever again I can not live with out a truck & found out I have not saved really any money 4 trips to the dump a week instead of 1 when I need a truck (sometimes often) I am borrowing one & filling their tank. Can not wait to start looking again this summer. Sorry to bum you out even more

-
Ruger SR or LC series great pistols
-
never liked them either my go to call is now a Wiggin game call bloodwood / copper pot call I rarely need to use anything else
-
we have just about everything here in NH except .22LR

Not all guys! I love my new Mathews ZXT & is my first Mathews. I have owned martin, PSE, Hoyt & now Mathews purchased it because I blew out my shoulder a couple years ago & the Hoyt draw was pretty rough on my shoulder had it set at 55# & still would be a bear to draw. I have the ZXT maxed at 60# & doesnt bother my shoulder at all & shoots great Will I stick with Mathews maybe but when I am in the market for a bow I but the one in my price range that feels the most comfortable to me. I can care less what everyone else is shooting
-
