Completely agree with you, I am part of the "young" generation of goose hunters being 23 but I have seen some awful stuff getting worse yearly. A few guys I've hunted with will not be invited back either as they pull bs to hunt a field no matter what it takes. A few fields I've pulled up on this season (which I've hunted in the past) had guys from Pennsylvania sitting on them staking claim for opening weekend, come to find out they never even talked to the owners. What a shame. I'm lucky to have some good fields and decent knowledge of the area I hunt and really don't post up pics anywhere because of that reason.

7 or so to 15 or so I would say based on my guess, this season younger smaller ones are around, and I normally breast the birds out.

Hunted on water and wasn't a great day, very strange early season thus far (2 days I know lol)

We killed 23 by 8 o'clock and got in a pissing match with the guys that thought they could set up and hunt my spread with us in our field, so that's it for the day lol. Hunting water tomorrow

Checked some fields for the opener tomorrow and sadly my honey hole has went from about 500 geese to about 50 in a week's time, it's ok I'll be there

Law , same exact thing at our place it's crazy. I don't want to shoot him so I stopped hunting them there. Lol

Thanks will do! I like to use Carlson's choke tubes for waterfowl because they're affordable and work well with my sx4, mid and long range chokes. For ammo I shoot mostly BB in 3 and 3.5 shells(mostly 3) I did pick up a box of BBB black cloud for cheap so I might give that a try.

It's almost here can't wait to drop some geese this weekend, have a few fields locked up that have steady action but as always looking for more to hit the jackpot. Good luck if anyone's going.
