Tougher bite today, caught more shorts than I have all season combined. I think we ended with 8 shorts and 4 keepers before we saw rain in the horizon and bailed. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

It'll technically hold 3, one can go straight up. I thought the same though, between 2 dipsey rods, 2 riggers and 4 planers that's enough for my boat! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Live from the UPS man. My rod trees and brackets came in! Just waiting on the 5° stackers for my dipsys now! Rod trees does an awesome job for a reasonable price if anyone is in the market. They'll powdercoat them a bunch of colors too for no extra charge. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

I agree! 4 rod limit and 5 fish limit haha Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Yea most of my fish are coming 15' off the bottom. Trolling at 2.25mph with snap weights and planers with a couple of leadcore rods out the back. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Walleyes are pretty thick right now out in front of Godfrey point in 45'. A lot of them are suspended early in the morning and drop down as the light increases. I've been trolling 5" crankbaits on planer boards and leadcore and been doing really well. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

That's a great fish for Oneida. I've boated well over 40 legal eyes this year and 21" is still my biggest. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Fire walleye bite this morning, 2 limits in an hour, threw 2 back, home by 9. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

I'm not familiar with a dogfish, I've caught "mudpuppies"? The fish/salamander looking thing with legs. If that's what you're referring to then no, bowfin don't have legs. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Are you sure they were burbots? Typically burbots are a cold, deep water fish. I could see you getting bowfins on a spinner bait and a worm in shallow water but not a burbot? The ones I've eaten from ice fishing were very good, not mushy at all. There isn't as much meat on them as it would appear though, they're mostly belly. But I would skin them, fillet them and cut the fillets into chunks about 1-2" in size, boil them in some milk and butter for a few minutes then sear them really quick in a hot pan. Tastes a lot like a scallop or lobster in consistency. In fact I believe some people refer to them as "poor man's lobster." It always made me mad when I saw where someone threw them out onto the ice and left them. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Oneida through the ice is a good bet if you're looking for burbots. They're great to eat and fight like a catfish. I've never caught one non ice fishing though. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

I'm not up on the latest outbreak numbers, don't watch the news, and have no idea what's going on with the vaccines. I don't care. I live my life the way I think is right, I don't mandate my beliefs about health onto anyone. If you want a vaccine, get one. Stop worrying what everyone else is doing. Don't people know how to live their own life anymore? Its not anyone's concern why I choose not to get vaccinated. Did anyone care before that I've never had a flu shot? I choose to limit any pharmaceuticals that go into my body because a lot of them are worse than the diagnosis. In 20 years when 1 billion people have liver failure or lesions or God knows what else, don't cry to me. You do you and let others do the same. The government does not care about your health, it's driven by money, stop being an idiot. My public service announcement is done. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk -
Well, I had some 3/8" aluminum angles made up to the measurements I needed. Then I simply mocked up where I needed to drill holes, bought some 1/4x20 bolts, washers and nuts and slid it right into my Versatrack rail. I paid roughly $70 to make both brackets. Cheapest I could find for my boat was $100 each. Turned out pretty perfect. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Not a fixed, but I've shot a ton of broad heads and never found one better than NAP Spitfire Maxx. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Forgot to take pics but got into a few walleyes yesterday trolling crankbaits on Oneida. Picked up some downriggers I saw on Facebook marketplace on the way home. Gonna mount them today, also ordered tracks and a set of double rod trees. The fishing game got really expensive lately! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Rain doesn't have anything to do with my purchases unfortunately. I'm 4 trolling rods/4 line counter reels deep already just this week! I've probably purchased $3k in fishing gear this year already. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Some days they're so fast you can't catch them. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Haha surprisingly it's doesn't look very purple out on the water! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Relaxing today. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Sweet, wish mine wasn't so purple in the sun but I'll get over it. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Tohatsu makes all outboards for Mercury and Nissan (under 30hp I believe.) So if you own a small mercury or Nissan, Tohatsu manufactured it. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

Motor delivered. Looks purple in direct sunlight? I don't care I guess, walleyes love purple right!? Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

I don't think I ever have either! It was definitely a cat, why it was so pitch black I have no idea! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

You didn't miss anything! Mayflies are insane out there. I'm guessing after these damn bugs are gone the fishing will get better. Hard to compete with perch clouds and bugs. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
