That sounds good. Will do. Tried to find weed controlto use but any turf weed control contains dicamba clover killer. Only one plot has a weed problem

Got ya on weed heads. Battled grasses with cleth early. Trimmed tops once. Established plots grow fast. Heard new tender is better. Mowing would be way too low with garden tractor im guessing. Have a good bicycle style husky so ill keep on with that.

How low do you all cut down clover and how often. I have 5 small plots in woods 3 small in field that i can do with weed whacker and one large i can do with mower but max height is 6 inches on mower. Too short?

Keystone solutions has a similar product to slay that can ship to n.y. also a modified clethodim arrest. for grass in clover. Great folks.

Got three varieties of persimmon put in from chestnut hill tree farm. Winter hardy for w.n.y. named deer candy. Iv eaten persimmon and can see why theyd like em. Doing good so far. 2 years till productive. Anyone else try em

You can tell which ones were arrowed in the early years but each a trophy. Stacking a bunch of little bucks together helps

Thanks ha ha. He got 3 chickens and 2 peacocks. His girlfreind psyed the price too. Neighbor raises poultry. Pretty good trapper too

Former lawn tree shrub specialist here. That weed is yellow rocket. Very common lawn weed too.its life cycle ends in summer with dry conditions but 24d wipes it iut if its crowding out plot plants

School me on selective herbicides

Yea just went through this. Arrest a selective grass killer and slay a selective weed killer. Both safe on clover are no longer sold in n.y. without a pesticide licence. Same with poast. Clethodim is allowed however cleth max needs a license. Found cleth e.c. at keystone and its on its way to n.y. i agree all will toast chicory tho -

SWEDE here. Heard great things about the people on this site, Many talents ,willing to share, no attitudes. Awesome...... Here in Buffalo, whackin walleye, perch and occasionally bass. Crazy this end of erie is world renowned for bass but I go for perch n eyes. Love to kill deer with sharp sticks n lead. Preferably in that order.
