Just a name for the contest. But fox and coyote count for a set amount of points. Team with the most points wins. Also heaviest yote and fox win a prize. My buddies have done it for a couple years, lots of fun according to him.

Decided to go for another slow walk and sit today. Got to the back side of my foodplot and bumped a real nice 8 and his lady friend at only 30 yards, buck gave me a nice quartering away shot but no tag for him. Now sitting on a log. Heres my view.

Went for a slow walk around my property after i got my kids on the bus. Looked like it wouldve been a great morning if was able to get out earlier, lots of fresh tracks. Followed some to the property line but never saw any deer.

U can get a mag lock on the ar's, or a spur grip, or thorsen stock. Then they are legal. If u go the spur grip or thorson stock, they have to be "featureless". Which means no muzzle device, no threaded muzzle, no bayonet lug, no foward grip, no adjustable stock...if u pin the mag u are all set and can have whatever u want on it. If the .22 has a pistol grip it falls into the same realm as ur AR. In that case ur better off if its a 10/22, get a wood stock back on it. No mags over 10rds. As others have said welcome to ny

After i get the kids on the bus im headed to Alabama swamps. Goin to take a walk around and check on some spots i scouted 2 years ago. May bow hunt there next year if my land slows down.

Indoor game silly!

Heres a good one...went for a walk through my woods to check a trail camera. Got pics of does and fawns and a small buck moving dyring daylight in the a.m. ill put my BIL over there saturday. Get back to the house and our 6 month old pup jumps on the sliding door locking it...so, i check the front of the house even though i know i locked it before i walked back. Trucks in the barn which is locked. Wife called she left work early because my son has a baseball game in rochester tonight. I tell her im gonna pop a screen on our bedroom window because i believe the window is unlocked. She then informs me she locked all the windows last friday because i was gone working a gun show outta town. So were does one go when only wearing a flannel and jeans when uts 30* out. Into our winterized camper obviously. Wrapped in some of the kids blankets till she gets home. 1st day bein 35 kinda rough.

Thanks again everyone. Got a new trail camera and cash. Just spent some of it on a scentlok jacket, lighter weight but on close out for $45. Needed something lighter than my sitka jacket. If ya need something check out thier site. Close out deals are really cheap!

Id say my 6.5 grendel ar, if u guys picking shotguns can swap barrels ill swap out to a .22 upper. Maybe throw in a .458 socom for slow and big just because.

They are staying very tight lipped of the location. The guy on facebook that put alot of the photos up is from medina, not sure if thats were they hunt though.

I screwed up buck on the right was 131 gross, not 136. Wishful thinking i guess.

2 on the left are archery bucks taken in rushford. Had the 2nd from left scored, 121 gross. Buck on the right is my biggest. Last years gun buck grossed 136. And other pick is my archery buck from this year green scored at 123 gross.
