I definitely get lazier during gun. Luckily for me it inly took opening weekend to fill my buck and one doe tag. Sooo maybe if i was still grinding away trying to fill my tags id be a little more careful but it only took 2 days.

I was just looking into hunts down south were i can take my son to actually hunt a deer. Last week when i shot what was "just" a button buck when he was with me, he said was the coolest day ever. I will never forget the look on his face after i shot, or listening to him whisper to me as i lined up to shoot. After deer season is dine with we will be headed out for some squirels to bond over. Cherish every moment.

Fantastic, got a doe opening morning. Was than able to hunt for a buck without having to worry about filling the freezer. Was able to take a really nice 9pt after passing on several bucks. I for the first time saw a buck breed a doe, it was another nice 9. I saw alot of deer during bow, more bucks than doe actually. There was a couple hundred acres of standing corn across the street also during all of bow. Great year, cant wait for October 1st 2018!

Well turned out to be a great night. Brought my son out and said whatever doesnt have antlers ill try to shoot. Ive brought him out a handful of days over the years and have never had a shot opportunitie. A group of 3 deer came out 100 yards away through our pines. The darkest 1 stepped into a opening and i shot. Turns out it was a button buck but im fine with it. Its a day ill never forget and neither will he. He was my photographer too, dont know why im upside down!

645, first shot heard

Well out again with my bil, hoping he sees simething. Hes getting pretty discouraged. I took a nice spill on the way in, took a cut sapling to the back of my ribs. Kinda sore right now, hope a doe walks by early. Good luck everyone, safe walking in its slippery!

Got in a stand i just moved and cleared around on tuesday. 10 after 7 i see a deer moving straight towards me on my right hand side. He was traveling through a young beech tree forest and pines. Got a glimpse of his rack through the scope and watched his stop and work a scrape i peeded in the day before lol. It was real this with the young beech but i found a small window and when his shoulder enter it bang! He ran maybe 40 yards and flopped over. Climbed down after a hour and half and got to see hes a wierd racked buck. Left side main beam is short and rounded off, had a good sized point coming off straight back thats busted off along with both his brow tines. Shot was maybe 40 yards, took the top of his heart off and blew up the lungs. This has to go down as one of my best seasons ever.

Neighbors cousin shot a monster i had on camera in early october. Kinda crying in my tree...ill b seeing him later when we all get together.

All sorts of broken stuff on this guy. His left side looks like he had a 2nd main beam that went back. Thats broke along with both brow tines.

Its killing me sitting here...he laying dead but dont want to fu#k up my bil hunt. I can see part of his main beam and it looks good!

Frankenstein 6.5 grendel AR. rock river lower with larue 2 stage trigger, upper is a 20" s.s put together by grendel hunter.com. Topped with a leupold vx3 3.5-10. Just put it together for deer this year so thats why.

If i or any family members drop any ill put them aside for ya.
