I'm not a deer biologist. But from what I have always been told .That as soon as a buck sheds his velvet,the testosterone level increases and he's ready to breed. He just has to wait for the ladies. I'd also have to agree that I don't think,with a deers curious nature when smelling somethin. That if he smells any deer urine he may check it out. Can he tell the difference if a does in heat,yes.Theres a higher estrogen level that sends them into a frenzy. The other thing is in my opinion,the claims made by some of these pee companies is how much of it is legitimate doe in estrus?

Too many for the first couple of days! I have used a hip quiver for several years. I have never carried more than 6 prior. I got a new quiver this year that holds 8, and there was 8 in it. :

Yeah the deer are moving but not til after shooting light,when the wind dies down. They came by un a hurry too.Loud crashin as they went by.

I'm seein a few here and there. saw a pretty good buck yesterday,he went bye before good enough shooting light. I've been hunting windbreak areas,when I can find them that is.

These are couple toms we took in tioga county. Because of health issues I haven't been able to chase them like usual. Just happy to be out there. My buddies bird.
