OH the fun of slappin up sheet rock in an old old house. Me,I am not a contractor. I'm a weekend warrior, when it comes to building. Electrical, plumbing, and roofing no prob. I couldn't find very many areas that were square at all in our house. Now we are looking at maybe getting a newer house. Either someone elses problems or new all together. Enjoy your winter.LOL! Looks like your off to a good start.

Very glad to hear she and the baby are ok. In my opinion all hospital beds suck. They are way too short. And if your unfortunate to have a stay in the hospital. Nurses comin in all night long and running into your feet really sux!! > .

From the old site to the new site.LOL! Some people get offended if you don't see things as they do. Personal attacks really don't make a whole lot of sense at all. But people are people no matter where you go. Too make personal attacks on the internet is easy. I like most have no problem with a good debate. When they get off the topic I look at another topic or ignore the posts of that type. I enjoy the success stories and the positive things with the outdoor sports. I've hunted long enough and have seen or met all types of people in the outdoors. Some have no reason being out there, nor should they have the right. But a majority of the sportsmen are people of good character and share the same excitement as I do.I don't let ,or allow people to piss on my parade. Hunting has become more of a competition . Rather than fellow sportsmen givin a thumbs up on someones success or experiences. Some turn their noses up or have nothing but negative skeptism. Thats their perogative in life. So be it.

Thoughts about my Dad who died this year
TH41 replied to HuntingNY-News's topic in New York State Hunting News
It will be two years this February since losing my dad to cancer. Every turkey, deer or fishin season starts with a lot of memories of him. Nice article. -
We had some pretty good responses the other night. Some areas electronic and some hand helds. This male came from a group of about 5 or 6 that were goin nuts some 400 yds away. He actually ran around behind us.Could hear them runnin in the ice and snow. When i dumped this one my brother inlaw had his light fall off just as he was bearing down on the others. I couldn't get them in the scope. Had another group on different property come into the elctronic. They were able to get downwind of us. Game over! Was the first chance I've had to get out. Glad there is plenty of time left.

GOOD WEEKEND WITH HOUNDS
TH41 replied to nycoyotehounds..BUB's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Nice!! I'd eventually like to try it with the hounds. Looks pretty exciting to me. Congrats to you guys. -
I've seen coyotes hit a deer carcass the day it was shot. And I have seen a deer carcass lay for several weeks before getting hit. Regardless baiting yotes can be touch and go to say the least. And if they wind you near a bait,or catch your scent around it. They will either hit it at night. Or they won't come near it at all. I use to underestimate them as being relentless eating and killing machines. Ring the bell and they come runnin. They are actually very intelligent, and remember sounds and smells like the dog at home. They remember when we screw up on them. Some days or nights ,they can be tough. And other times they come in fast. Good luck this season.

Not a serious hunter but have shot a boat load of em. In ny and Pa. Some of the farms we hunt are sick with em! Especially when the manure is spread. I have used predator calls for them both hand held and electronic. Good way to work on wing shooting skills.
-
I'd love to have a season here in ny. They really are a lot of fun to hunt.

Looks like a police officer, gettin ready to shoot your deer! LOL!

Came to around 8 bills after taxes. Figure it will be my all around gun for many seasons.

I've wanted a T/C prohunter for quite awhile. Last week I was at a shop and saw one there on the rack. The temptation was too much. I havent been to the range yet. I may have to use my other ML for the late season. Santa came early!

A fellow co worker, who hunts Pa,said he found 3 deer this weekend on his property. All three were lethal, drop em in their tracks shots. He has a disgruntled neighbor he thinks. The guy was asked not to hunt another neighbors. And my co worker was still permitted to hunt it.I told him to call the game commision and let them investigate. I have seen this before over the years on both public and private land. Where there is no way in hell the hunter didn't see the deer drop. Like they are shooting then deciding they don't want it. Sick people. Yank their hunting privledges for life. And fine the s#!t out of them!

Thats one the difference's between hunters and poachers.
