  1. Must be he couldn't get none from the ladies. Or maybe he's an ex-con deer?? Whatever floats his boat. I'd almost have to shoot him in disgust. Sicko!
  2. Man must have been quite a distance if it didn't penetrate his clothing. Shootin across a road. Not too smart. A shame for both sides.
  3. Congrats to the young man! WTG!!
  4. Man the best season ever : : . Seen a few scrubs here and there. As far as seeing deer, well it pretty much has sucked! The worst season I've ever had. Must be too many mt.lions and coyotes. Got a doe on thanksgiving.
  5. I shot it! Ok so maybe it was a dream. But it really happened, honest
  6. Mine is registered we have I think it is a one or two mile hardtop law. You can legally run on particular roads for up to two miles?Law enforcement won't bother you if your registered and wearing helmets. I have run a few times on the roads. Not good for tires at all. And just a small safety measure I have learned riding on any roads dirt or hardtop.2 wd is way better handling than 4 wd. Pretty hairy!!
  7. A few bad instances, but not on 4 wheelers. Mostly 3 wheelers and dirtbikes. I've got a lot to live for so I have toned it down a whole lot. But just like any motorized thing we use. There is always a chance of an accident. I just maximize the risk no mo!
  8. Some statelands have atv/utv trails. But a majority are off limits at this time. They may eventually see the popularity of atv's amongst taxpayers . Do some impact research. And may open or designate trails for wheelers on statelands.Never know? Another thing You can check into is riding clubs. Some have access to private lands.
  9. Honda Foremen.2nd season with it. love it.Its been a lifesaver. Draggin days are over. luggin treestands no more. All those years with out one what a luxury for work or play. I still make the long walks and climbs to my treestands. But knowing when one hits the ground it will be a cake extraction, good feeling.LOL!
  10. Just over the hill from me. I heard there was another one shot up near Reisingville( think I spelled it right).?? Nice bear he's a very good one. Looks like it was fun to get him out. Congrats!
  11. Haven't heard anything about it yet. I did see different pics of that 600 lb. cinnamon from lindley last year. Nice!
  12. I tried them didn't like them. Not a head shooter with the bow, very unpredictable shot. I have a buddy in Pa who shot a bird or two with them.I just didnt like shooting them. Rage two blades do a good job through the vitals on turkeys though.lol.
  13. Definitely a rarety in that amount of time for a bear or a coyote to get on that deer. Not impossible by any means. But don't think it would happen often. Just wonderin why that deer was pulled up into the tree? Made for a good pic of the damage though.

    Clean MISS

I agree practice on ranging with your eyes. You'd be surprised how accurate you can get with range. Plus it is good for confidence. I have a couple of rangefinders i like them for gun. But as far as my archery shots I'm good to 50 yds on visual ranging. You can range trees or markers while archery hunting and it will definitely be helpful. But I found very seldom did I or have I had time to range an animal while archery hunting. Don't like the extra movement. If he is in sight,I'm preparing for a shot.If its an animal I'm after. Not saying don't get one they will help you get good at judging range. And clean misses are not bad at all. Still sucks missing. But ya know that animal will be there next time.
  15. A couple of scrapes that were used last year. Were just opened this week. To the best of my memory they were opened around the same time last year. And within days all hell broke loose. So things are gonna change
  16. I always hated filling my tag before primetime. Especially when ya start seeing bucks on the move. Goodluck in mass.
  17. Cool footage! Thanks for sharin.
  18. An electrician and avionics installer on military helicopters. Mainly seahawks right now. Occasionally black hawks. Not a bad job at all. One of our birds from a couple years ago on flightline.
  19. Nice!! That looks like a pretty healthy flock right there.
  20. Cool video! That camera is pretty darn good too! Nice clear imaging.
