  1. Nice! I inherited a bunch more flies a few weeks ago... more motivation run become proficient with the fly rod and put them to good use.
  2. Baked Lake George smallmouth fillets tonight. And to make it feel like summer... blue lights + margaritas.
  3. They're not "official" until they hit the red wall! Another great buck and awesome mount.
  4. Warm(er) weather means backyard beers with neighbors... which means new beers!
  5. Hello my Nigerian friend... unfortunately our corrupt and inept King Andy does not allow spears for hunting. I’m afraid you would be bored with our lazy ways of hunting. Bow, gun, and especially crossbow.
  6. Shortchanged would be the understatement of the century
  7. I can't believe the deer on the left is still alive... hes got a bum leg, but he looks better now than he did in the Spring.
  8. Just 2 deer fighting on their back legs... might be common, but it's my first picture of it.
  9. I am pretty sure these are shed bucks... still getting rid of some aggression.
  10. Back in business!... but ADK, my Nigerian friend, please send those BP gas cards to me, as said truck was gifted to me as my work vehicle. It was the least Moog could after commandeering my hunting property.

  12. I'm in discussions with Moog to take over the day-to-day operations as well as production. That should free him up to work on big picture things, as well as new product development. Be warned, if it works out there will be no more trading or bartering. We will only take payment in the form of cash and ammo. Thank you Nigerian prince for your generous offer... but taking on international investors will hurt brand image.
  13. All great bucks... but that brow tine buck really is a monster.
  14. Used the new slicer to make some corned venison reubens.
  15. I was thinking I’d probably have a heart attack. Was that buck gun or bow? Or would that be too much info to reveal?
  16. Oh this gun is in pretty rough condition cosmetically... definitely not for a collector to spend $ on. But for me it’ll be great. Locks up nice and the barrels are in good shape. There is a repaired crack in the stock (right where you’d expect it to be from being opened too aggressively). According to this poster, it looks like it’s a model 9. Serial number shows it to be from 1925. My only .410 is a snake charmer, so I already have lots of shells. And this one should be a lot more fun.
  17. Picked up a “what the hell” gun for $50. 1925 Crescent New Empire hammerless double barrel .410. I figured at worst it’s a wall hanger/paper weight, but if it shoots it’ll be a fun bonus.
  18. This is annoying me too... I don't like not knowing things.
  19. Any thoughts on AFC Gamma? Its a weed/real estate/finance business. IPO was delayed a few times.
  20. It's not a difficult job... just be sure to give him the beer AFTER.
  21. I've got a little 2300W generator that I can power my furnace with. I've only needed to do that once, when we lost power for 8 days from the wind storm a few winters ago. Like Nomad said, we have a gas fireplace that can keep the house warm enough for a few hours. I've pulled it out a few times over the years to keep the lights/TV/fridge going. In fact, we lost power before the Bills/Ravens game last month and I watched the first half using the generator. Everyone else on my street was scrambling after 4-5 hours without power... we were sitting back watching the game. Scary how ill-prepared the average person is.
  22. Mrs. Plav threw together a hell of a snack tonight
