  1. National IPA day you say?
  2. Enough of this nonsense. Back to good beer and hopefully good baseball.
  3. Pesto salmon, Parmesan squash and jalapeño cornbread.
  4. Ugh that was rough. I watched TV during dinner and swore in front of the baby... two things I try to avoid.
  5. Ruby Red Kolsch is good, Fuzzy IPA is good... Peach Kolsch, not so good. Too much peach, not enough beer.
  6. Yanks down 11-3... I’m dumping this beer down the f’n drain!
  7. Double header... GO YANKS! Not a bad beer, tastes like every other decent Pilsner. Beautiful can though!
  8. Imperial!! I'm not sure if it's actually good or not... but it fueled my honeymoon so I love it!
  9. Nah we didn't explore the country at all... went straight from the airport to the hotel What a beautiful place tho. I'm sure they are getting hurt now by a lack of tourism from Coronavirus.
  10. Galapagos and Costa Rica will be one hell of a trip! Are you thinking Coast or rainforest for Costa Rica? If you are planning any time inland... book some nights at Nayara Springs. Don't even bother looking anywhere else. We were gonna split our honeymoon coast/rainforest, but decided to do the whole thing at Nayara and it was great. I even snuck in a fishing charter! Our plan was to go back to CR for our 5 year anniversary but that got killed by COVID.
  11. That's from my father's garden. He'll replant the biggest and best. The rest will be divided up between my parents, me and my sister. With his method of cutting and drying them, and proper storage, they'd last a year. But they always get eaten before then.
  12. Mrs. Plav crushed pizzas tonight. Homemade pesto and whole wheat crust.
  13. Opened and poured by the munchkin. As soon as she’s strong enough to open the fridge I’ll be all set.
  14. Garlic porn! Soon to be featured in the What’s for dinner thread.
  15. Don't worry Biz... you don't need to worry about the playoffs until the Chiefs get there.
  16. Yanks 8-1, Cole 3-0. Love it!
  17. Pasta with chicken sausage and fresh veggies. And back to basics with a delicious Hayburner!
  18. Easing back into the work week...
  19. Now I know why I haven't seen any big bucks... they're all over at @Nomad's place!
  20. The season is less than 2 months away! This will probably be an odd season for me, not sure how much time Ill have to hunt. "Food plot" field across the road is soybeans this year, with corn further out. While I was taking a picture of the fields 2 small bucks walked out. Tons of activity on the cameras. Glad to see no coyotes at all so far this year. All the deer look healthy, several does with fawns and 10+ small bucks. The big boys should start showing up soon. We've been seeing a massive doe with no fawns, and that could be her in the nightime pic. I might need to take her out early if I have a chance. Also, there is a mock scrape dripper in some of the pics that I hung up in prior to the 2017 season and haven't touched since... as you can see, it still gets lots of attention.
  21. Monday mornings are a little better when an employee brings you beer. (Even better when it’s one you like and couldn’t find on the last beer run!)
  22. I already won a 6-pack of beer from my brother-in-law for our annual Yanks/Red Sox first series wager. A win tonight would just be a cherry on top!

    Rutcation

Based on big buck daytime activity I’d hunt Nov 10-15 over any other time.
