If your setup is working for you, no need to change anything, especially at 51 lbs. But from a powerful bow/crossbow, mechanicals can do massive damage resulting in quick death and crazy blood trails. But if you're happy with the current results, keep doing what your doing.

It was like cooking while watching food network. But it was a free steak and lobster dinner and we had a blast.

I had the same shot happen to me... of course, on a smaller buck. Crossbow shot hit a little forward of where I was aiming, but took out the heart. He dropped after a 40 yard sprint.

Surf and turf tonight. My buddy won a Zoom cooking lesson with Bobby Flay and we’re doing it at my house. They shipped steak and lobster. Don’t know what to expect, but we’re preparing for anything.
