It's true, you and some others here were ardent supporters of his odds. I thought he would lose "bigly". I couldn't tell if my penchant or drudge or my insistence to visit sites like CNN would win, so I was torn over these two conflicting messages

To me you looked like you were taking heavy doses of narcotics in your predictions about this election, but the proof is in the pudding. You were right, period. So, good job, and enjoy your victory. I am thrilled. Not because Trump will be president (I hope I am not speaking too soon), but because I really, really didn't want Hillary to be. And Trump looks to have stopped it. So to me, that is great. I'm glad I was wrong.

That's why if this happens I will be glad for it. Incompetence can be trained out of a person, but corruption cannot be. It's who hillary is and it will never change.

I have never been for clinton. You won't find a single post I've been for her. My view has always been: 1) They are both bad in different ways BUT: 2) I would rather Trump win than hillary because her corruption personally offends me. 3) The odds of him winning are slim (a month back I said it was over) My view on him and her hasn't changed. If we have a "president trump" we should all be wondering what the heck we've done BUT, hillary was just crap and this is a massive middle finger to everybody in washington. And for that I want to see him win, which is why I am legitimately happy at how things are going. Believe me I didn't think this would happen and I won't pretend I did! But, seeing somebody so connected, so corrupt, so bad for the country now facing defeat makes me happy. Legitimately gleeful. I hate the way things are going and I don't know trump is going to make it better but I know for sure she would have made it worse.

Agreed. Because Trump is a @*$#ing hand grenade, just like michael moore said. A guy who has no experience in political office, ran a fairly bad campaign, has no political correctness, etc. If this happens, the clintons are FINALLY done. We will never have another potus with last name clinton (hopefully chelsea doesn't run in a few years).

So, um, it's looking increasingly likely that I am going to have to create an "oops, my bad" thread tomorrow regarding my love of polls. Not there yet, but it's leaning that way isn't it? I am okay with that Things are going overall very badly for clinton tonight, to my surprise. She has not lost yet, and she may win, but at this exact point in time the angle is leaning to trump, and quite a lot in fact. NYTimes has a real-time thing on their front page and it's giving trump a 90%+ chance of winning. It was in the 60's only an hour or so ago. I am concerned because they have yet to call florida officially, but ...wow. If this happens, the left are going to start rioting starting, oh, first thing in the morning.

Support her if you must but celebrating the fact we are about to have a definite criminal in the oval is no cause for celebration IMO. My daughter had some school vote today. She planned on voting for Hillary. I said vote for Jill stein if you want to support a woman. It is important that we teach in or kids that tolerance for corruption is a cancer to a country.
