    I've had a grunt tube help bring a buck in a few years back that was in the right mood. I've also shot bucks following a dragline.

    Mine used to be first five of rifle but lately I've missed a lot of opportunities during late bow (as pointed out by my trailcams) so now I'm going to have to say week before gun opener in a freestanding with bow or crossbow if I haven't had enough time to practice.

    Always interesting to see what set-ups guys are using. So what gun,powder,primer,bullet and optic are you using. I'll go first. Gun: CVA Wolf Powder: 2 WhiteHot Pellets Primer: Winchester Bullet: Barnes Spitfire TE-Z 250 grain Optic: Nikon Omega 3x9 On a side note I'm considering getting a new muzzleloader. Any suggestions? Looking hard at the Knight. Thanks

    Just 4th different spike tonight in 3c. Lots of shooting in lowlands. I have a feeling a few does were dropped. They are not to many on our property.
