The tehtrd phantom is a one size fits most. From a 26" waist to 40 or 42. So unless you are at the edge of that it doesn't matter what you wear. Other saddles are more size specific,they dont fit that wide of a range of sizes. I think you would only change one size by going from shorts to insulated pants.

Did i read that right? you are shooting mechanicals with a 45# bow and have not lost a deer with that setup? That is amazing. Generally people dont recommend mechanicals if you shoot under 60#. What DL are you?

I also do DRT climbing and i use my predator platform as a one stick with two aiders. And then i can rappel down with the rope. I am still learning too and hope to get on a good buck this year.

Trump has done nothing to address climate change. Scrapped the clean air act,supports coal and oil. More of the same. The U.S. is the biggest polluter per capita in the world. It would behoove us to become a leader in alternative energy and set an example,then we would be in a position to address it in other countries. Trump withdrew from the world climate summits.

And that is exactly why not much meaningful progress has been made. Everyone is concerned about their little day to day. If you think the word is still out on climate change I dont know how to have a discussion. Just jave a look around. The hottest years on the world have been all in the last ten years. The record breaking wildfires are a result of changing patterns. The hurricanes breaking records. If we wait to make meanigful change muchblonger it will be too late. Natures systems are very tolerant of being messed with up to a point,and almost all scientist agree that we are approaching the point of no return fast. Once things get really bad this pandemic will seem tame,my guess the next 20 years will be enough to proove that to everyone. I dont understand why people are afraid to shift priorities,there are enormous economic possibilities in making the world sustainable. We have the knowledge but not the will. It's too bad,since the climate crisis will affect everyone,rich or poor,republican or democrat,white or brown. Thinking about this makes me happy i dont have children because they would be affected for so much more of their life than I will be. That is actually a big reason I dont have kids. World population is another,which also is an enormous challenge in its own right. Ok,one cant dwell on this or I would want to bury my head in the hot sand too,so i choose to focus on hunting!

I am firmly in the nevertrumper camp. Trump does not strike me as a masterful debater himself.

You actually get more stability shooting from the saddle because you have more support. You lean into the saddle and also have your feet on the small platform,three points of contact vs. two as in your feet. My only problem was i had to check the bubble on my sight as i wanted to cant my bow and that would affect my left to right grouping since i shoot a drop away rest. Once i made sure to check i was good. I am excited to not have to go and set up stands in the woods before the season. My buddy is doing that now which i think is late in the game. I will not let the deer know i am coming. I dont have problems with the hip pinch either but i got the phantom,maybe that's a little better that way. I have no regrets getting into this and it has added a new level of excitement for the season,as if i really needed that,haha.

I don't aim to offend anyone,but look at some of the jobs some legal and/or illegal immigrants are holding. Farm work,meat packing plants and others. You couldn't get most white folks to last one week or maybe a day there,especially for that pay. And all this to keep food cheap and profitable at the same time. Who is creating this situation in the first place?

What i think is funny that you fellas think the BLM protesters should be held responsible for some bad apples rioting. What about gun manufacturers being responsible for mass shootings? Welcome from central NY. I would take you out if you are ever up in these parts,Cooperstown area. I have been hunting for ten years or so and this will be my first in the saddle and on public land. Hang in there,it takes a while to figure things out and then a long while to get really good.
