Exactly right on both. Got my second shot at 2:50 on Tuesday, was starting to feel bad around 7:30-8:00pm, and by 3:00pm yesterday I was feeling pretty normal.

Felt better at about the 24 hr mark - mid afternoon. Slept for about 3 hrs. 95% now.

Got my Moderna #2 yesterday afternoon. Started feeling overly tired by 7:00 pm and fell asleep early. Feel like crap today. No energy, headache, and body aches. Drank plenty of water yesterday. Waiting for the Tylenol to kick in.

They found better accommodations apparently. No pics since over a week ago. A fat chuck was hanging around every day since they left. I think he’s land squatting on the hole.

Hope it works out better! Keep us apprised on the Starlink? I’m curious of that as an option.

These two yellow bellied sapsuckers were going at it in the air and then our house got in the way. Heard them both hit the second story window and then saw them hit the deck, one of them right in front of me. Was just looking out the lower window when they crashed. No breathing, dead on impact. One of them still has feathers in his beak from the other. So, the obvious question is...deep fried or roasted?

I don't think any country wants to finance their way through a world war. But I would expect Russia to make a move on the Ukraine for a land grab. Heck they've massed enough armament on the border now to pull it off this weekend. They annexed Crimea a few years ago and that US administration did squat about it. If I was in charge of Russia, I'd feel pretty emboldened about that. Ukraine is not a member of NATO.

Oh, I know, sounds a lot like WW2 Germany, but I'm dying to be able to do something. We skipped taking a vacation the last two years. It's been since 2018 since the wife and I have done anything of note. I'm ready to surrender a tiny piece of my freedom to do something!

Erie county just stated their intent to fill the Bills stadium for games this year. The only catch is you'll need an excelsior passport to prove you've been fully vaccinated. I think this is going to catch on fast for food/hospitality/entertainment businesses that want to open up fully. Colleges are already announcing this too. I respect anyone's beliefs that they don't want to get a vaccine that hasn't been proven safe over the short or long term. But I think it's only a matter of time before you won't be able to do much in public places without proof of vaccination. I'm so looking forward to be able to go to a concert, or an Indy race or a Bills game again. Moderna shot #2 is scheduled for me next week.

My parents were legal immigrants. I'm 100% pro legal immigration. I'm 0% illegal immigration. I believe it's a disservice to legal immigrants to call the illegal crossing of our border "immigration".

The current project boundary is the next road over from me- missed it by 1/4 mile. Per Armstrong, there isn't a current plan to extend that to our road. Grrr.

Hard to see in that lighting, but it was black and white. And chicken-size feet.

What are these? Is that a rabbit? One looks like a chicken. We’re not missing one, and the neighbors don’t have any. I found the feet, a tail and a wing on the ground near one of the entrances. Off the top of my head I don’t recognize it.

Haha, I like seeing them. Last year was the first year they stayed more than a week or two. And as they got older, they got bolder.
