  1. I have 76 acres of private to hunt from a older fellow I used to bowl with for yrs. I call it my lease but in all actuality I don't lease it he doesn't charge me anything to hunt it but to show my appreciation I always give him a very nice Gift certificate for a nice place to eat for him and his wife not to mention some venison that I harvested off the land. A small price to pay I know for land to hunt I'm very lucky and he knows I'm highly appreciatetive. The only small thing I don't like about the property is he doesn't post it and doesn't seem willing to post it so we have neighbors wandering on the property from time to time. I don't push the posting issue since I'm hunting it virtually for free but if he ever brings up the idea of leasing it to me I would be all over it with the stipulation of being able to post it. Other than that I hunt alot of stateland mostly on the Tughill. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  7. Ok it's been along time since I've been this excited about a button buck. My son's fiancee was able to put some meet in the freezer. She has been quite diligent about putting her time in with me on the lease when she could she's been with me about 8 times this year and this was the first deer she had seen. I'm so happy she was able to harvest something. A big Congrats to EJ, TF and Biz's dad on some real nice Bucks. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  16. There's a lost Hunter 1 road over from where I hunt alot. My nephew is following it on his volunteer fireman scanner. He shot his last 3 rounds and was really starting to panic and now his phone is dead. The Forrest Rangers are being called in. Poor guy I hope they find him soon. That's some Big woods up there. One thing going for him at least it's not frigid cold. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  17. Nothing from the tower blind but at least I stayed dry. Back at it tomorrow afternoon on the lease. Congrats to any that were successful. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  18. Ok so this is different I'm almost 51 yrs old and this is the first time I've ever hunted from a tower blind. I could get used to this. I let a friend of my nephew's hunt my lease with us a few times earlier this year and once last year and he said if you ever want to hunt behind my house your welcome but I only got 15 acres but I do have a tower blind. Fast forward to tonight my nephew and I wanted to hunt but we were expecting steady rains a phone call to the Hunter and he said help yourself to the blind. I need one of these on my lease! 19. Only seen 1 today and that was the one I spooked on the way in. Got in a little late as this is the plan B spot plan A already had a truck in it. Lots of shots so at least somebody is seeing them. At 10 I'm up and moving will slowly walk the trails. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
