  1. Had a doe come through then 5 minutes later a 4 point with his nose to the ground and then another doe 10 minutes later. Things seem to be picking up here in the north. Great morning so far. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  2. Beautiful morning here on the hill in 6g got a couple of inches of snow from yesterday. I just passed on a decent 6 point which in the past I'd have taken, here on stateland in the northern tier that's a pretty good buck but this is my first day of Rut-Cation and I got plenty of meat in the freezer. Good luck to all those out. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  3. Lots of nice Bucks taken today congrats to everyone, can't wait to get back out tomorrow. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  4. Well after a 2 1/2 hr tracking job where we were seeing little pencil eraser size blood droplets every 5 to 10 yrds we eventually came to posted property. The posted signs do not have a name on them and are spaced way to far apart I believe they are spaced like every 200 yrds. Even know the land is not properly posted I'm not going to trespass. I had to head home as I still got a blower to pickup and if I don't get some sleep I won't be working tonight. My son stayed up there and is trying to find out who's land it is to ask permission to look. Got to give him lots of credit for not giving up but I don't believe the Deer is mortality wounded with that little off blood loss. He will check in with me later hoping he somehow finds it. 5. I love this place! Only been here an HR and my son already shot at a decent Buck and I've seen 4 Doe. He's waiting for a bit to go check for blood. I hope he gets it. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  6. Unplanned morning hunt I got out of work a little early and my son really wanted to go so here I am in a spot in 6k that I never been. Only got a few hrs then have to go pick up my snow blower and then get some sleep for work tonight. Beautiful morning good luck to everyone out. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  7. So far even though I haven't seen alot of deer I can't complain because my freezer is full. I took the velvet spike with my bow and added a nice doe with a 6g tag. I now can focus on helping some friends fill there freezer as the next deer I get ( if I get another) I'm giving to my buddy who hunts very little but his family of 4 loves venison. I also plan to hold out for a hopefully nice buck with my gun tag. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  8. Happy Birthday! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. Looking forward to it as long as it's just 3-5" but the snow up there often comes in feet at a time. I've had several years that by the end of November you couldn't even reach your hunting spot. I love hunting in that first good snowfall off the year it usually gets deer up and moving on the hill. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  10. I work nights alot but I'm a coffee drinker so that helps me out not to mention the more you work nights the more you get used to them at least that's how it was for me. I'm not condoning it but alot of the guys who don't drink coffee drinker those energy drinks like Red Bull and such but I know that's not the healthiest answer.I hope you figure out something that works for you working nights is definitely not for everyone. 13. Nothing so far here in 6g pulled cards from 2 cams on the way in. My swamp stand is now about a Ft deeper than it was the last time I was here with all the rain. It sure felt warmer than 45 degrees on the walk in not use to the sun being out, even know I was only wearing half my hunting clothes I still worked up a sweat and that sucks. Good luck to everyone. Congrats to all those who put one down today. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  14. After sitting from 6 to 10 all I seen was this porcupine on the walk out that's pretty sad for such a nice morning. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  15. Checking in from 6n beautiful morning but haven't seen nothing. I've heard quite a few shots this morning so somebody is seeing them. Plan to sit for another hr or so then go in for a bite to eat and relocate to 6g. Good luck everyone. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

  18. I was thinking about that the other day myself haven't seen anything posted by him in awhile. I actually got to meet him last year as he was gracious enough to invite me down to hunt with him and his dad and show me some areas down south as I had never hunted the southern tier. I had a great time and him and his dad are Great people. Where are you Stone? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
