  6. I'm with steve863, my wife has never shown any interest in guns, bows or hunting and I'm ok with that. That's my ME time. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  7. My wife and I became empty nesters about 2 months ago and we are enjoying the quiet. He only moved about 5 blocks away so it's nice that we still see him alot as he stops in every other day or so to talk, and of course he brings his dirty laundry with him. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  8. Lots to do in Alexandria Bay. I live about a half hour away so been many times. As others have mentioned there's uncle Sam boat tours where you can visit Boltd or Singer Castle which is a great time and highly recommended. There is a nice go-kart track and a 2 screen drive-in and places to rent boats or jetskis to view the beautiful 1000 islands on your own. The streets are lined with tourist shops that are open late into the night and if you love the night life this place is hoping during the summer. It draws a young crowd however and can get pretty wild at night. I myself prefer Clayton alot less to do there but a lot less populated and more relaxed. Clayton does have the antique boat museum which last I new offered antique boat rides. Clayton also has boat rentals and a nice golf course. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. Got asking around at work found 1 guy with a 30 ft ladder and another guy who used to repair chimneys for a living. He's going to stop by and take a look tomorrow. Thanks for all the advice. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  10. Might have to look into getting a screen installed Thanks Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  11. I borrowed a BB gun from my buddy ( I own nothing smaller than a 243 and thought that would be an overkill) and have that option but I live in the city so have to be careful about shooting any gun as my neighbors houses are pretty close. Also Id have to pick them off before they got to the chimney once in there I wouldn't have a clear shot. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  12. Looking for some suggestions to get out and keep out pigeons from the top of my chimney. I believe they are nesting in the there. I have scared some away by throwing a ball up on the roof but before you know it there back. I don't have a ladder to reach to the roof ( about 20 ft up) not to mention it's sloped pretty good so I wouldn't feel comfortable being up there anyways. Would turning on the furnace encourage them to leave for good? And would it be safe to do so if they got a nest in there I surely don't need to start a fire. I've talked to a few people about it and one suggestion was to put up a fake owel which is great but I can't get to the top of the roof and another suggestion was to just leave it be for now they probably have young ones in there and will leave on their own when the young ones can fly. Looking for any advice you might have to offer I'm sick of sweeping the pigeon crap out of my driveway everyday. Help! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
