Term Limits Petition
Rattler replied to GreeneHunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Asking members of Congress to limit their own terms is a waste of time. We need this on the national ballot as a vote. -
Across the country, firearm and accessory manufacturers have worked within state health guidelines in order to provide a steady stream of guns for those looking to protect themselves and their families in uncertain times, as many are, according to recent NICS numbers. Companies have also donated time, money and manufacturing space to provide healthcare workers, first responders and essential personnel with the supplies they need to continue working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Walther Arms is looking to reward these front-line workers with its HEROES VIP program. "Over the last several weeks, we have witnessed the countless hours of hard work to keep our families safe and our country moving forward," said Adam Blalock, CEO of Walther Arms, Inc. "We have all seen examples of real-life heroes at work. That is why we wanted to extend special pricing for our heroes that have dedicated their time to helping others." This limited program is open to all first responders, hospital personnel and essential workers and will run to May 25, 2020. To qualify for the program, consumers need only send in a copy of their credentials along with the HEROES VIP form found at waltherarms.com/industry-vip-program/. A limited number of Walther Arms factory offerings are included under the HEROES VIP deal. One gun offered under the discount is the CCP M2 chambered in .380 ACP, which retails normally at a suggested MSRP of $469. Under the VIP pricing program, the gun sells for $320. For more information on the VIP program and other offerings from Walther Arms, visit waltherarms.com.

Further proof the state was woefully unprepared for the lock down it implemented, and quite unconcerned about the hardships it forced on it's victims.

CNN is not a news network and it's anchors are not journalists. It's a propaganda arm of the Democratic National Committee and it spews opinions, not news. It doesn't have to be correct, factual or relevant to anything factual. CNN's purpose is to keep the lies flowing in order to keep it's followers in a lather. The mind control of the left is a cult. People under it's influence are often illogical and hateful, refusing to believe anything good about their opposition. That is why it is impossible to compromise with them on anything. CNN is not interested in what is good for the country. It is paid to sell what is good for keeping leftists in power. It's people are highly paid commissioned salespeople for communism. Communists have always been anti-semitic. What is despicable is their alliance with the enemies of the Jews. They support Islam and never challenge them on their hatred of Jews, or anything else. This is also relevant to members of this hunting forum, because these same Communists hate individual ownership of firearms, along with most other individual rights. CNN is one of the biggest opponents of the 2nd Amendment. Now, just to be clear before some here misinterpret what I've have written, I'm not calling CNN viewers Communists. I'm saying if you listen to it's propaganda, you are being indoctrinated by them. They want people to hate Trump, conservatives, the US Constitution, Rule of Law, the electoral college, immigration laws and free speech. If you are also against those things, you belong to the cult. In other words, if you support Democrats, you are not very smart, but you think you are, and that is what makes you dangerous. As for judges, people were pushed to hate Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, as well as oppose confirmation of ALL judges Trump nominates. These leftists know the easiest way to get their laws in place, is with activist judges who will circumvent the Constitution and install those laws by judicial fiat. They don't want judges who follow the Rule of Law. This is the most important thing Trump has done to preserve the country, and CNN and American Communists hate him for it. All of that considered, someone explain how Democrats think Biden would lead America on a path of exceptionalism and prosperity.

Well, it's 6AM and light out, but not raining. No wind, but foggy. Haven't heard a gobble yet. I guess if it isn't raining, it's worth trying.

Cuomo says anyone can get a job as an essential worker at any time. LOL!!

NY is using the pandemic to ask all the rest of the country to bail it out after years of financial irresponsibility and wasting tax dollars to buy votes from special interests. NY has been bankrupt for years now. The pandemic didn't put it there. And it's not asking just for money to pay the extra expenses it incurred for the pandemic. It's asking for a bailout to avoid total bankruptcy, which has been inevitable for at least a year now. Trump is using NY's desperate need for cash to try and get the state to eliminate it's unamerican illegal protections of illegal aliens. That is also wrong. He should be telling NY the rest of the nation is not going to bail it out of it's self inflicted bankruptcy, regardless of the pandemic's contribution to it. If we do it for NY, we must do it for every state that has put itself in a pending bankruptcy condition, of which there are many, which would only further encourage more irresponsible spending by those states. That would mean higher taxes on every citizen of the nation in the future too. FUAC! BTW, NY state didn't contribute more money to the FED than anyone else, it's rich taxpayers did. The money you are referring to was individual tax payments from individuals, not NY state. -

Now many people would say a wild bird, such as a ruffed grouse or wild turkey born to freedom, would run away and take it's chances in the wild again, knowing it was able to survive in the wild prior to being lured into comfort without knowing the danger that awaited. Why doesn't the chicken flee to the freedom of the wild? The answer is, because it's a chicken! -

Interestingly, they report no deaths. Their total number of initially infected was only in the mid 250's or so if I recall what I read, and increased to less than 500. It seems like a big increase if you use a percentage to indicate it, but it is only about 250 more people. Nothing mentioned about the severity of the cases, be they serious or mild, and nothing mentioned about even one single death there from the beginning. Sounds like keeping high risk people in lock down would be enough to keep people from dying and allowing others to develop anti bodies would end it faster. -
I understand why they do it. I just don't understand why the public tolerates such laws.

I don't attack people who don't agree with my posts. I debate them. I just don't tolerate insults from people who refuse to debate. I call them as I see them. I post what I think people need to be aware of. I just don't tolerate people who want to squash the message, because it seems like they don't want anyone else to see it. If someone can't debate the ideas in a post, they should just ignore it. Too many feel if they can't intelligently debate, they should attack the messenger. This is what I see leftists do all the time. This is why I use terms like you mentioned, because the shoe fits. And I don't call them those things, I call their ideology those things. I don't care if people have other opinions and I don't try to tell them they can't, nor do I try to prevent them from posting those opinions. I debate them. I'm willing to state the fallacies I see in their views. I'm not saying I couldn't be wrong. I'm saying, prove me wrong. It's not that I can't deal with people who don't agree with me, it's that people who don't agree with me can't deal with it. To put it in simple terms, let me post this for those who won't read more than ten words in a post. -

I still cannot understand why you guys visit this forum when you have noting to contribute to it. You are the whiners. Why would anyone go anywhere they didn't agree with the conversations, unless of course the intent is to put an end to it because they don't want opposing opinion to possibly sway the onlookers. Like I said, it's an old Marxist tactic. -
Seriously? You are that far out far there? If you are not aware of it, my spending a ton of time to get that for you, only to have you ignore it, would be a waste of my time.

Someone posted this in another thread and at the time I was thinking they must be referring to CNN and MSNBC viewers...... "There are people that don’t understand the difference between news and a radical interpretation of news" -
I've been told by a couple of catalog outlets they will not ship to NY because the laws are too convoluted to be certain what is legal and what isn't. So they simply say they won't take the chance. Hell, even the police in NY are not certain what is legal and what isn't. Lately they just arrest people and let them have their lawyer figure it out in court. Costs you lots of cash, but the police and the state don't lose a dime, in fact they gain by making a lot of people figure exercising your rights isn't worth the hassle. Seems to me that has been the intent from the start.

I see the self ordained forum content censors are triggered again. Can't put anything on here they don't agree with I guess, especially when they aren't capable of any intelligent counter point. It's an old Marxist tactic to control the narrative. -
I received an e-mail directly from Barnes suggesting I reload to pass the time at home. I'm on their e-mail list. I started looking into what I might need and found what I posted in the OP. I'm still out there every day so I'm not stuck at home, but found it weird they would send it out as a suggestion for people under lock down, only to tell many of them they won't ship to them. Yet catalog companies will.
-
That's what I'm saying. It doesn't make any sense for them to not ship their product due to state imposed liability and refuse money. The laws make no sense.
