Now that we are in the political section, thanks to someone with TDS.....

But cannot legally bring it to NY without getting a permit first, which is ridiculous. What do you do with it until you get the permit, and if denied you have to sell it. It would be easy to stop people from buying handguns where a safety test is required. Just take the tests offline and stop setting any up. How funny that would be, huh? NY residents really have very little knowledge of their rights. That's why they lost them years ago. They willingly gave them away.

Once you agree to jump through the hoops, you are resigned to buying with their test required. I'd rather not have a handgun then comply with this crap. BTW, criminals buy handguns without permits all the time, as do some responsible gun owners who refuse to comply. So this law really has nothing to do with crime prevention at all. Does it increase safety? Maybe we should compare counties that don't require this to the one's that do and see which is safer.

It is unconstitutional to force people to pass any sort of test, or qualify to exercise any right. This test puts a right in the same category as a privilege. Nobody should be willing to accept these restraints without a lawsuit against them. We get the type of government we allow. I'm surprised people in these areas just roll over and comply with this oppression without raising hell with their elected officials.

Lefty, what I'm burned about is someone putting political crap in this General forum after demanding it not be here. It should not be here. Put it in the political forum where we can properly debate it, or is that something you guys fear doing? Your post is more of the same. Why not post something in the politics section if you want to make these accusations? I refuse to debate these things here. They are not related to the virus, they are concerned with the politics surrounding the virus. It's the hypocrisy that tightens my jaw.

Democrats are the party of limiting or removing rights, liberty and freedom. It makes sense any organization that seeks to control people and force their beliefs on them, would support the political party that is willing to pass laws to force it on the people.

Put these political posts in the Political forum where we can debate these issues properly, without derailing a thread where others don't want to see it. I look forward to seeing these things in the political forum, where I can give them their just rewards.

Once again, hypocrisy on display. It has no business in this thread because it is nothing but hatred for the President and politically motivated. Keep your politics in the political section. No amount of self justification will prove otherwise.

Fellow hunters, I give you the site hypocrite. He raises hell when something is posted in a general forum about politics and demands it be moved to the political section, then continues to bring his biased, uninformed, hateful political opinion into the same forum to expose his psychosis and derangement regarding the President. This thread is not supposed to be about politics, yet this is at least the 2nd time he's brought politics into this forum after angrily demanding it not be here. It has no business being in this thread and I for one suggest he take these posts and start a new thread in the politics section, where it belongs, if he wants to vent about his hatred of the President. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

Speaking of the extra medical facilities being relatively empty. Did it ever occur to anyone the initial number of victims was expected to be much higher than it currently is? The reason the numbers are not as high now is because the public has responded to the curve flattening suggestions. It's not a bad thing that these extra facilities are not full.

Sanders was in the race as a far left shill for the Democrats. His job was to spew extreme far left ideals in order to make the Democrats slightly less extreme ideology seem moderate. He got paid to drop out and let Hillary run and he got paid to drop out this time as well. He knows he has no chance of winning the general election, but the Democrats saw a benefit to having him in the race. He's a salesman for communism on commission.
