    Sorry to hear, squirrel. Your family is really being tested. Unfortunately, it’s not going away anytime soon, as all we did was suppress it for a bit. I fear people are about to act as if we did beat it. Yeast is impossible to find by me. In the city too. A friend had to order it from amazon. We’ve become a nation of bakers.

    Typically, it’s a late afternoon game but that can change with so many factors - river, temp, sun or shade, type of insect. No need to get up too early unless you just want to go fishing. In that case, there is no bad time.

    It’s a bit of a Ford/GM discussion. I’ve had Samsung for years, a buddy Sony. All good at a certain price point. Whatever you get, do some research online and find the right calibration settings. Night and day difference in viewing experience.

    Yes, I am left handed, but the name comes from when I was 14 and my father took me to have my first suit made. When the tailor was measuring my inseam he asked if I dressed to the left or the right. I had no idea what he was talking about. Then he pointed to my crotch. I quickly caught on. I dress to the left. As I've explained a few times, I don't limit myself to political descriptors. I am conservative on this and liberal on that. Mostly in the middle. Why is that so difficult to understand?

    I’ve only fished the WB Ausable a couple of times but it was great fun. Big goofy flies that the fish smashed. Felt like a western stream.

    Caddis move quickly and in a haphazard fashion so fish have to be quick. They’re also usually holding a little deeper so the strike is more violent. I like to skate caddis across a riffle then hold it downstream. Lots of strikes that way. Excellent reference. Good advice. I’ve taken a few in the head and face. More recently than I’d like to admit.
