I wish I could justify buying a 4 wheeler. I can't just drive it out of my driveway and go hunting. I would have to transport it to where I go hunting.

I not really defending either one , since I'm not on the jury .....but Zimmerman did at the time come across as a wanna be cop. Maybe he should have backed off especially when the dispatcher told him so. Little Travon Martin was no angel either.

Since Zimmerman was charged with 2nd degree murder , how can the judge give the jury the option of convicting him of the lesser charge of manslaughter , after the trial was over ? It seems to me that the prosecutors office should only be able to convict him of what he was charged of. By allowing the manslaughter charge , I think the jury will compromise on that.

A few years ago my friend and I both shot 8 pointers on opening day of gun season 5 minutes apart. He went back to his house and came back with his ATV. We tied off one 8 pointer on the front cargo rack and the other on the rear cargo rack. The only regret was that I had to walk out of the woods , but that was fine with me !

You need to have surgery on your shoulder. There's no reason to go thru life not being able to raise your arm above your head . Been there , done that .

If I have to continue wearing a back tag , why don't they make them with black numbers on a blaze orange back round ? Maybe someone might think twice before doing something illegal . Better yet......maybe I won't get shot in the back .

Wow.......that's news to me. I usually carry a pen and a small cable tie inside the tag holder . I'd like to know if this regulation is written anywhere......or if it even exists.

But how come the northern zone hunters don't have to wear them ? I don't mind wearing a back tag either , but if I forget to wear it , I shouldn't be liable for a summons.

Why do southern zone hunters have to wear a back tag , and not the northern zone hunters ? That is a very good post you started Arrow Flinger......maybe someone can enlighten us .

It's definitely going to be a learning experience for you and your sons . There is so much to do outdoors ( ie hunting , fishing , trapping , hiking , camping , photography etc ). I would only suggest that you try to make it fun for your sons and not a chore. Best of luck in the great outdoors !!!
