looks like West Winfield (42 inches) got the most snow. i noticed a few of you saying your going to clean the snow off the roof? how serious of a problem is this from what i can tell i got about two feet up by my house. -

Was over my fathers this weekend talking turkey with him.Went back after work today to set up for the storm tomorrow.He gave me a bag of old hunting gear.Just dug through it and found a 37 year old box call still in the box it's a p.s olt turkey gobbler call.It's still in good shape except for the elastic cord that held it closed.so i chalked it up it sounds pretty good.I'm thinking of using it this fall. the price tag said $9.99 lol

wow mine lasted 4 years and cost $200 a pair,i replace the dr.shcolls every 6 months.it's been working for me for 15 years,but i still have to choose good footwear

i tried orthodics worked great but to much coin for me.it's like finding a needle in a hay stack when i go footwear shopping so far its irish setters, merrels,new balance sneakers and muck boots,

did you ever go to a foot doctor? i have really bad feet collapsed arches with Neuropathy can't even walk around the house without slippers on. dr,sholles makes an insert for the neuropathy that work great.As for boots try irish setters there made by redwing http://www.irishsetterboots.com/USD/work-boots

i'm not knocking this outfitter i don't know him,but you really need to do your homework. I've been on a lot of bear hunts most where great successful or not.One that comes to mind is a Maine hunt found him in a magazine.By the end of the trip me and two guys from Michigan wanted to slap the poop out of that wiseazz four other guys from Ohio left after two days of a five day hunt. Bottom line do your homework

I sent my Remington 700 to ilion. It was no big deal you send it through ups no ffl needed they changed out the part. They even replaced the bolt only cost me shipping. It did discharge on its own twice in the ten years I owned it both time the gun was hot and on the bench.

This is pretty bad here on long island.i work in a compost grinding yard and we get truck loads of oaks.Pine trees are getting beat up by Asian longhorn beetles as well.Over the weekend i seen areas of dead pine trees.hopefully they can figure these out. I'd hate to see these trees wind up like the chestnut tree.

if you didn't try walking rub lines 4 out of the 5 i found this year where on rub lines one was in a bedding area.

this is how i got started shed hunting walking around trying to figure out an area sheds where just a bonus.now i just shed hunt these areas. keep going it's a win win.

i tried it for 8 years in a row. i wanted to do it with no blind came close a few times before giving up.three years ago sitting in a treestand deer hunting had this guy pop out 20 yrds. hit him where the neck meets the body drop and flop.

Got out again today for a quick hike. Found a set everytime I see them like this I can't help but think aaaccchhheeeewwww!!!! And off they came hate finding box turtle shells but it's getting very common these past few years.
