I was curious if lake Ronkonkoma was open,I'm going to take a ride over there lunchtime tomorrow.I've been bouncing around hear and there on the island with no problem or fish.lol

I'm assuming your talking bow hunting. It's a good idea to have two or three backup spots also you don't have to sign in until after November you use the permit. After November you can do an early let out,that might be a little hard for you because you need to go to the check station the day before. No matter what you do spray down with Swayer insect repellent or a good tick spray there everywhere. There's also a shotgun lottery for January.That's the only hunting I do on long island anymore.

This whole boat launch closing is non-sense.What if you use a kayak,canoe or cartop?? I was planning on using my 10' jonboat in the afternoon during the first week of turkey season.Is bank fishing banned too? Does anyone have a link about these closing.

A scarf will work it's just to keep sneeze/cough spray away.I'm thinking of wearing a pair of safety glasses to keep it from going in my eyes.The problem is not getting it on you it's if it gets in you.

I'm not directing this toward anyone just throwing it out there.Trump used the wrong word he has "final decision" not "absolute" He's is most likely going off a major crisis or public health act which would over ride the constitution. I just got an email about this today.I think this is long over due,I've sat through two hunting classes and three bow classes because no one wanted to go alone.I can see them still hold the trapping classes there's a lot more involved.

This is a cool thread. I started as a truck driver(21yrs.) then switched to heavy equipment for the last 8 years. I know it may sound funny but I love my job and looking back wouldn’t change anything. In less then two years now the only work I’m doing is around the house!!!!
