    They came in late by me no chicks yet.I sometimes walk up to the nest or baby's to watch the mother pretend she has a broken wing.

    That trap looks pretty big.I'm going to pick up a new one.I was using #0 leg hold trap too.But only a few stepped on the pan.

    I've been using the walk the plank trap.I thin it's a little better then the roller trap.I caught 28 mice,7 voles and 3 packrats over the winter.That was in one bucket.I use peanut butter,But i'm going to try sunflower seeds next trip up. I tried live trapping them but they kept getting out.A good old wooden rat trap works.I only use them when i'm up there.I caught a catbird in a rat trap once and felt like crap.There one of my favorite birds.

    I’ve been up at my house and can’t believe how many chipmunks are going under my house. I shot 11 and trapped 7 there doesn’t seem to be any reprieve from them. I had them stacked up out back and this morning a turkey vulture was gobbling them up. I love those little thing but this is nuts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’ve been working on my pistol range for the last three days. The box is thirty yards away it’s 8x4x4 filled with wood chips. The box behind it is 50yrds. It’s 5x4x4 there’s a 100yrd box behind that I filled them with wood chips to catch the lead. I wish I could get a 200yarder but it’s a hill. On rainy days I can shoot from my living room.     I used to go to Canada a lot when I was younger I love that bay of fundy area. There gun and hunting laws where always a little out there in my and the people who lived there. Someone sent me this yesterday

    Thanks I'm going to give it a shot.If i get a bunch i'll try and fillet a few.The only fish i ever scaled was bluefish for my father.If you scaled them fresh out of the water it was easy,if you waited until the died it was a pita.

    I'm heading up next weekend going to try for bluegills and perch.I never eat ether and want to give them a try.How are the bluegills scaled and pan fried? that's how i'd like to cook them.

    If i don't see anything going on i fan cast,But these two ponds i can see the trout swirling out in front of me.
