Giants fan. Never watch the draft. Always follow the ESPN ticket and then turn on the TV when the Giants are on the clock. Intrigued by Manti Te'o. Part of me wants the Giants to draft him just for the novelty of it and part of me tells me wants the Giants to address more pressing needs.

Woah! Awesome.

I read in some places that the wound to his neck was a self-inflicted wound that was a result of a failed suicide attempt. So not only did they not kill him, they took great efforts to save him. Though the logic of taking him in alive to see if he'll spill the beans on possible secret cells does make some sense.

Right before. Sitting there in my boxers, cuddling my deer rifle, with a smirk on my face while I day dream of hunting.

My wife must think I'm starting to look like Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket.

Since my season was cut short this year, I gotten the fever early. I catch myself taking my guns out and cycle dummy rounds through them ever once in a while.

Another factor to consider is that parents face an uphill battle with their children's peers. My parents were all over me about my studies but my friends where all out up to no good. Naturally when I went to college and I was free from my parents iron grip, I partied my butt off. So equally as important to surround your kids with other kids who are as focused as you want your kids to be. As a side note. I just got back from a trip to China. I was talking to one of my tour guides about the school system there. She told me that college is all free so as long as you're in the top % which is why all the kids are so competitive. Normal school hours is from 8AM to 5PM up to middle school. This works out for the parents since their kids will always be accounted for while they're at work. In high school, kids are in school from 8AM to 8PM. This is what we're competing against.

At start, I use to bring 6. 2 Rage, 2 Montec G5s, and 2 blunt tips. Now I only bring a rage and a G5 and do a eni-meeni-miney-moe as to which one I cock when I get a chance. On some of those small public plots where I don't have to hike very far, I only don't even bring a quiver at all. I carry the bow in one hand and one arrow in the other. Call me a optimist and a pessimist but I just figure I won't miss and if I do...I won't get another shot any way.

Facebook Bans Pro-gun Accounts
Elmo replied to Elmo's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I stumbled on this on one of the comments: “According to Frederic Wolens, associate manager for policy communications at Facebook, the pages were removed because they violated Facebook’s terms regarding advertising (“Ads may not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives”)" Maybe that's what caused the scare? As long as you're not advertising the sell of firearm products you're safe? -
I doubt it simply because I don't recall where in the facility would you be able to do it. They don't have a setup. Unless you it's at the pistol range (only section I haven't been to). Best way to know though, is to give them all call. Let me know when you do as well. I'm curious now myself.

Apparently this is old news but I just came across this. http://marketdailynews.com/2012/12/28/facebook-inc-nasdaqfb-purges-pro-gun-accounts/

Yeah, they confirmed the one that got killed is a follower of Islam.

My history might not be that good because I don't remember what USA has to do with the Republic of Georgia. How did we become a target or are these two just two deranged individuals?

I was a bit taken aback when the hunter was hunting on the porch and the husband came out and the hunter pratically cussed the husband out. Is that how they treat property owners?

I use to work in the Herpetology department in the Bronx Zoo and use to catch tiny garter snakes in the woods. Outside of the venomous ones and the big constritors, snakes are completely harmless. They don't leave a mess and will get rid of your rodents.

Did ya hear? They're banning X-acto knives now . . .

I'm sure Dom was joking. -
Since they're harmless and all they do is go around eating mice, can't you just relocate it instead of killing it or are they an overwhelming nuisance? Snakes here in the city is a super rare sighting and you have to go into parks to find them.

They gave up their guns!

Several soldiers where given Medals of Honor for chasing down and killing the Indians that ran for their lives. It was cited in their award ceremony. Yet, they still claim the Indians started it.
