  1. Since the only part tat is truly edibe on a crowds the breast medallions, crow would be fairly easy to clean though I never tried it since I have no interest I eating crows. Reds, I hardly see.
  2. Have not had the chance. Saw a ton of crows last weekend but none came within shotgunrange. Busy this weekend. Thinking of going again next weekend.
  3. Not sure if the tracks are coyote or dog but the hand is definitely werewolf.
  4. You can also order it online. Mine came within 3-4 days. http://www.duckstamp.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=W&Category_Code=FDS
  5. I very curious to see the carnage your 22 mag does on a squirrel. I bought a 17HMR but haven't had the opputunity to take a squirrel with it. Internet photos shows squirrel almost completely sawed in half with the 22 mag/17 hmr if you don't get a head shot but I still want to get a home first hand experience from it.
  6. Yes. It's obvious that children and schools have gotten into the way of animals. We need to stop having children and shut down all schools.
  7. 40 view is nothing. There are 611 users on this forum. 40 view is 6% of the user population and that's if each of those 40 users only clicked on it once. 40 view also doesn't mean 40 people saw it. If I clicked on it twice, it'll be 2 views from me. I'm just saying be patient.
  8. Thanks. That's the problem when you put a slob (me) with a neat freak (my gf) together in the same household.
  9. If you left a couple of rounds (centerfire) in your pocket and it got tossed in with the wash, is it still any good? (It didn't make it's way into the dryer)
  10. Damn, kid. Even for someone like me who makes a living sitting in front of a computer, it is not uncommon for me to be away from the computer for more than 2 hours and 8 minutes.
  11. What a coincidence!! I only hunt animals that also fall into one of these categories: “injury, illness, age, aggression, or because no good homes exist for them."
  12. Yeah, I heard about those gobblers down in staten island and I hear they're causing tons of traffic problems by walking around in the streets, is that right?
  13. I use the 12 gauge on squirrels because that's the only shotgun I have and some of the best areas for squirrels near me are shotgun only areas. I prefer my 22LR or I'll take headshots with my 17HMR but rules are rules and so often I'm forced to carry my shotgun. I also try not to shoot at a moving squirrel. I would say 90% of my shots are at posing squirrels. Yes, no challenge at all but I don't just see if I can hit the squirrel, I also look at the background...think about what direction I'm shooting...think about my target and beyond...and I think about it twice before I pull the trigger. I do not shoot at a flash ofgrey that streaks by. I guess that makes me a horrible shooter. Then again, this isn't a pissing contest. I have no desire to claim that I can out shoot anyone. I'm just satisfied knowing any game I've taken was taken humanely, expired quickly if not instantly, and all my shots has been safe.
  14. Squirrels season ends on the 29th. Better get out there and get some.
  15. I wish I can, bkln, but season's never open in NYC. I'm not even mentioning the tons of rock pigeons, starlings, and european sparrows that's every where. The coyote is the main concern. I walk my dog at night and I let her run around the park off the leash. She weights 12 lbs which is the equivalent of a Happy Meal for a coyote.
  16. Wow...you even caught a fish with a handgun? Just kidding.
